Went for lunch. Drank a full glass of Pepsi & my friend asked what was in my cup. (As I killed a gnat on my arm) Yup glass full of gnats. Told them when they brought our food. They apologized. We didn’t stay so can’t say how the food was. The other side of the cup had gnats even throughout the ice.

Good Mexican food, better than the local El Camp & Tlaq restaurants. Service good, frequent, but be prepared to point at menu items to confirm ur order. Our group of 8 had one kitchen goof- the veg plate came w meat. Place got noisy when friends of staff stopped n to eat & yelled back and forth with the kitchen. Vibe was more like home kitchen than restaurant; not bad, just different.

The food was good. It’s a newer restaurant. The staff was friendly and helpful. Salsa was average. I like a little more garlic, cilantro, and chunk, but the flavor was still good. The cheese sauce was good. Not much to say, but they have a decent amount. Ordered shrimp chimichanga. Good flavor. I prefer a little more flavor, but it was still better than some I’ve had. That’s why I gave it an average. It’s still early for this place. I’d try it again.

I was I’m impressed with the decorations, it was cool to see the beautiful transformation from the former establishment. My favorite part of the meal was the chips and salsa. Unfortunately I wasn’t actually wowed by the food I ordered or the service. I was only able to eat two items of the four on my plate, one was soggy and the other was burnt. The server only gave us one glass of water and only asked about a refill AFTER we had cashed out

Fabulous meal! Prompt and attentive service. My blackberry mint margarita was HUGE and plenty strong. I tried the molcajete for the first time and love it – and it was easily enough for 2+ meals. I’ll definitely return.

I had high hopes. I was doing taco night and decided to stop here and grab pico and salsa because I was in the area. The salsa was like water, no signs of any vegetables like it was pureed for days. The pico was dry and disgusting and had chunks of steak in it. Never again!
