The taste of the food is okay. I’ve had worst. However, I was beyond disappointed by the small portions. Literally, after 5 scoops with my fork the rice was completely gone. I have NEVER gone to a restaurant to buy food and received such a small portion. The plate was not even half full and the plate was the smallest size takeout dinner plate. Most restaurants at least put a good amount of rice to give the illusion that the plate is adequately full. This restaurant didn’t even bother to try and make it seem as though they were interested in gaining customers. It is definitely not worth the money mainly because you’re not getting your money’s worth. You’ll end up spending more money for more food. Might as well just go somewhere else from the beginning.

Everything was cooked nicely but so bland. It would be nice if they had outdoor eating area. I think they’re a little pricey for breakfast and the shrimp are rather small. They encourage cash paying customers or you’ll have a 4% charge with card. That’s not ideal but I get it. The locals love this eatery and stay busy. You can call-in your orders but they’re so busy, you may not get an answer. Overall, they were okay. (11/19/21)

As a FP native I came back here while on vacation looking for a little taste of home..Not so much..”Grouper” was dry and hard, Mac N cheese was tasteless (microwaved boxed?), fries were underdone, shrimp were very small….Something’s up cause this used be a good lil spot and other reviews don’t appear to showcase what i experienced..Nothing like it used to be.

Well damn, where can I start. I got myself a grouper platter with hush pups and mac and cheese. I rarely am completely satisfied with a meal, but this one was an exception. Mac and cheese came out piping hot. Hush puppies were fried to perfection, crispy outside and moist inside. Grouper was nicely seasoned and the sauces that came with it accompanied it perfectly. If you’re ever in the area I highly recommend you stop by!

Was visiting the area and my wife, daughter and I got food from here. Not sure why the ratings are so high. Maybe we went on an off day. Food wasn’t horrible, just not as good as the reviews say they would be. The lady at the window was nice. We waited about 40 minutes for 2 plates and a sandwich. People were steadily coming to place their orders, so it seems to be a staple in the community. Maybe it’s because of more than the food, like maybe they’ve been there awhile or something ’cause I just don’t get it

No good food is cold and burnt tartar sauce look awful not white I will not visit again and I came from Houston texas. Catfish is not big and has a weird taste not worth $16.00 they price gouching their nasty disgusting food no wonder they wasn’t busy with customers.
