I was there on the Grand Opening night and was very impressed. They are certainly working out the kinks of opening a new bar/restaurant but that’s expected for any new place. The food was very impressive and the drinks were great. I fully expect this place to become a staple of Lakewood and am looking forward to returning for a delicious Smash Burger!

Nice, chill spot to grab some drinks and some nice bites. Nothing too flashy and definitely on the lower key side of things. Not too expensive either. A good spot to drop in for a few drinks during a night out.

This place has a lot to work out and I hope they do it soon. We went to the grand opening last night and the place was packed. Friends of ours had been there since about 7 (we arrived about 7:50) and they still hadn’t received their food. Had to ask repeatedly for water if we were lucky enough for the waiter to stop by, and even then it took way longer than it should’ve to arrive. One person at the table ordered the key lime martini and seemed happy with it. Another person ordered a strawberry mojito and said it was awful. The live music was great if you’re drunk. If you’re sober and hungry, and the speed of service made it impossible for us to not be either, it’s mediocre and way too loud. The musicians were entertaining at first but it soon became clear that they were going to butcher several songs, and so loudly that you couldn’t hear yourself yelling at the person sitting across from you. Eventually, a flatbread made it to the table, over an hour after it was ordered. It was cold and tasted no better than something you could microwave at home. Around 9 pm we flagged down the waiter to ask about how much longer the food might be and he was honest, said it would probably be a while longer. Two kitchen staff members didn’t show up. That’s understandable but maybe alert people to the fact that there will be a very long wait so that they can decide if they maybe just want to order drinks instead of waiting 1-2 hours for food that doesn’t come. Looking around, no one was eating food…is a kitchen that’s 2 people short completely incapable of producing food? We ended up asking the waiter to just cancel our food and cash us out for what we had received. After about 10-15 minutes we had to go find him to pay so we could join the other parties that were leaving without having received food. This place needed a soft opening. Hope they get it together but I doubt I’ll be returning to find out.
