I love soup, soup is my thing. Hubby and I had the mushroom and wild rice….fantastic. Hubby had Ladles grilled cheese and I had Baron Von Ladles, both excellent. Spent $25 including drink vs. $90 the day before on fair food. Wish we would have known about them earlier, would have eaten there more than once. Sweet tea was good and when we came in we were greeted and he was super nice. Nags Head location.

We’ve hit up Ladles twice over the week we’ve been here. What a great place. They make it super easy to order, even given their array of choices. The quality of the food and soups is really good, they have pretzel rolls as well, which are a personal favorite. I’d like to also personally shout out Tyler for delivering a consistently top-tier customer experience. This man manages the room with alacrity. He either truly cares about each customer’s experience, regardless of the time of day or day of week, or he’s an incredible actor. Either way, we’ll probably go again before the week is up, this place is GREAT.

Out of the box thinking with this establishment! It is always refreshing to see something different. Ladles offers a large variety of sandwiches and soups (and salads). I got the Turkey Ruben/broccoli cheese combo and my wife got the Turkey bacon rye/loaded potato. Both were excellent lunches. The chef must be very experienced to offer and blend a great menu together. It was a rainy day at the beach so we found many restaurants were full or just not open for lunchtime. Nice to see a different option to the basic fries or chips with a sandwich. Easy parking too! I recommend Ladles!

Such a peaceful and sweet small restaurant with amazing food. The prices are unmatched with good quality and quantity. a very deep menu filled with so many options and different flavors. Highly recommend the turkey rubbin with any soup combinations. It leaves you full and wanting to tap a nap on the beach.

Delicious and satisfying soups and sandwiches with lots of gluten free options for $1.50 extra. The turkey reuben on gluten free bread was great, if not a bit small, but unfortunately you expect gluten free options to be smaller and pricier. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, great customer service.

Markets for its soups and it should! But you’ll find that it’s not just the soups that are great, they have fantastic sandwiches, perfect portions, good music, and great service. Almost missed this one and I am glad I didn’t. Will be coming again, highly recommend.

As a soup lover, this is place is heaven. The selection was fabulous with wide list of choices of soups, sandwiches and salads. The price was incredibly reasonable. My daughter’s full size grilled cheese sandwich + 8oz soup was $6.95, I had a BLT on pretzel roll for $10.95.

Definitely the best lunch or dinner around . This is a family owned store and they all work in the store . They are caring and friendly to their customers . I highly recommend stopping by to check them out. The menu has something for everyone and they have a Facebook page that post daily specials .
