Great place for lunch or dinner. Food was outstanding. The best view! Please keep the middle bar open so there aren’t tons of kids in the bar area.

Service was outstanding! Food was absolutely delicious!! It was my first experience there but they treated us like family. Definitely a place to go. You can get a table inside or hangout on the deck for outdoor seating.

It’s the lake, so grade it on a curve. I’ve been coming here for years, and it’s ok. It’s the nicest place on the lake to arrive by boat ( that doesn’t involve a golf cart etc). Burgers, other sandwiches, a couple of chicken and seafood options. There is a full bar and lots of folks arrive over-served so….

Although we were not able to enjoy the view because we were there after dark, the restaurant is on the water and has a great patio and view. We were seated pretty fast and while we waited there was a bar to get drinks. The waitress was very attentive and the food all came out fast and hot. Everyone enjoyed their meal and we would all return there for sure.

The food and atmosphere was amazing but the service was awful. Our waitress walked by us multiple times and did nothing. Empty cups piled up of the table because she didn’t come and get them out of out way, someone at our table had to do it herself. Not to mention it was over an hour before we got our food, which is fine, restaurants get busy, but she never came and told us something like “Sorry it’s taking so long, your food will be ready soon.” Only come here if you’re desperate enough for the food to wait.

Kowliga Restaurant is at the Kowaliga Marina. We had a very nice meal here. The catfish is served fried, grilled, or blackened. I had lackened and it was pretty good. The loaded sweet potato was awesome. Service was very good. Awesome views of the lake. Very nice dining experience.

We ate there on Father’s Day enroute to Cheaha State Park. The views were spectacular (table 212) with turtles, fish, ducks, and geese all swimming around. We had the stuffed sweet potato (DELICIOUS!, onion rings (huge), grilled shrimp (bland with zero grill marks, or grilled taste), Arnold Palmer with unsweetened tea (awesome), and house salads. Great place, great service, good food, and spectacular views. Highly recommended!

Wow! The wife and I happened to be nearby in Dadeville. This is perhaps one of the best lunch dates ever. First the scenery is awesome. There is a beach area. There was a rocky area near the front corner and you could feed the fish and turtles.

As always, a wonderful experience at Kowaliga!! Everything we’ve had off the new menu has been delicious! The service is friendly and efficient. Everyone from the bartenders, servers, hostesses, and Stacey, the manager, go above and beyond to make sure their customers are having a great dining experience while trying to efficiently manage the large crowds that come to enjoy their good food, drinks and beautiful scenery. To address two things Jeff mentioned in a Review below. #1 – To manage dogs on that large property would be a logistical challenge. The grassy areas, beach and docks are all places that customers go to wait on their table to be ready. As with other restaurants on the lake, it’s gross to have to step over dog waste or get it off your shoes when others don’t clean up after themselves. #2 – Kowaliga focuses their energy and service on the in-house customers that to-go orders on busy summer weekends aren’t taken. Those of us that dine there and appreciate the food, service and special scenery are grateful for this!
