This is one of the worst places I’ve been to in a long time. The service was average but the food was terrible. The food came out suspiciously fast. And sure enough when it got to me the inside of my “spinach enchilada” wasn’t even melted and missing spinach. The enchilada was swimming in grease to and the point it was spreading throughout my plate into the other items. The meats all tasted and smelled spoiled. I was like they were trying to make them last longer by cooking them over and over until they were dry and tough. I was hesitant to write the review since I don’t like giving bad reviews, but the food made us sick, which added insult to injury. Especially after the 2 of us spent $60 on food that we barely nibbled on. The quality is better at Taco Cabana. I’d even rather eat Taco Bell. Save your guts and stay away.

First time dining in, we were a bit disappointed, the food was ok but the Rita was good. I’d say the service was just ok. We went early on a Saturday night 6ish that may have had something to do with the timing being a bit off. Our appetizer came out just before our meal ( don’t think it was the waitress fault) I ate the enchiladas al carbon it tasted good I will pass next time on the queso though it wasn’t my favorite but thats just my taste, I’ve been told I’m a Tex Mex snob? Lol

We went there for lunch and I got lunch beef fajitas and my wife go the burrito. The portions were more than plenty. Food was hot and delicious. Service was a little slow several times my tea glass was empty and had to wave down the waitress. The green sauce that came with the chips and red hot sauce was on point.

The Grilled Shrimp tasted like plastic, had a bad smell to it. Beef fajitas chard tostada’s were wet. Waiter keep disputing with me claiming Shrimp was fresh. Total meal was $80.?? And we didn’t really eat anything. It’s a disappointment don’t waste you time.

New to the Katy area and trying out all the Mexican restaurants. Came for lunch time on a Thursday and it was pretty empty, got sat quickly but it took forever for someone to come by to take drink orders or greet us. Once greeted we did get our drinks and chips and salsa quickly. The red salsa is okay, it tastes very tomato-ish. The green salsa straight up tasted like broccoli to me, did not like it. I got cheese enchiladas & it was decent, not bad but nothing special. They seemed to just ignore their customers because nobody ever came back to check. We flagged someone down for refills and the check. I wouldn’t return. Food was just okay. Service meh. Idk what that green salsa is but it was not appetizing

We came to eat here and chose to sit outside. The lady in the front didn’t understand us and was walking around the restaurant like she was lost. It took us 10 min to be seated which is fine but it took them 30 min to get chips. No one offered us water and we went in multiple times asking for a server. I even approached the manager and he said he’d be out in “one sec” well that was the longest second of my life so we just decided to leave after an hour of being outside. I will not go back.

Update 8-27-22..This was my fifth time here to eat and this time I was a little disappointed with the Tacos AL Carbon were a little greasy and my wife and son’s burrito was a bit smaller than it use to be. Maybe we just came in at an off time however the service was good.

Pretty good Mexican food right here. Went here for a family gathering and was definitely impressed. Their guacamole was amazing and the fajita options were good and plentiful. If you are in this area stop by and check them out.

The wife and I thought we would have dinner at our favorite Mexican restaurant that we haven’t been to since the Pandemic. Both of us were disappointed. I had the large Burrito with beef fajita. My wife had the chimichanga with beef fajita meat. First the good, the red Salsa was terrific. It had a smokey taste to it. The refried beans in my burrito and side also had a smokey taste. Now the bad, my wife didn’t like hers at all but didn’t want to say anything to me as she didn’t want to spoil my dinner. It turns out it was swimming in grease and the tortilla that they cooked it in must have been stale or something. The bottom part was thick and hard. The meat, in both our meals was a huge letdown. Mine was thinly sliced that looked like it belonged on a deli sandwich, except it didn’t taste good at all. Pre-Pandemic we thought La Finca’s fajita beef was the best around and we drive by several fine Mexican restaurants to get there.
