This was the first restaurant that I wanted to go to when the closings were lifted. We were warmly greeted by the familiar staff and shown to a wonderful patio table. My favorite orders are the Croque Madame and the brussel sprouts appetizer. They were delicious as always! Love their coffee also. So happy that they were able to stay open during these tough times. I am back and will bring my friends and family here to the best family- owned and run restaurant in L.A.

Stopped by for a late lunch on the weekend. Mussels, beef, quiche were delicious. (Watch out for anything with fries! They’re delicious, thin and salted right, but it’s a full Plate of fries for Each order! Better tell them to go easy fries as needed.) Mussels – fresh, looked like a huge amount, but all gone after eating a few dozen between me and my friend. One of the rare restaurants with fresh mussels done right. Delicious, light. Beef – taste of wine and more, tender, gone in no time. Quiche, ditto. Overall, well-done for the type of French restaurant it is (ie. You are not at a 5-star Michelin masterpiece, but rather a daily eats.) The only sad thing was these three dishes was so much food for two that there wasn’t room to stuff in the tiramisu – next time!

Will give 2 stars, the FOH is nice. I had a good time drinking wine. Unfortunately in the end, my food was bad. I order steak and fries, the frites were nice but the steak was horrible, chewy, full of nerves, and fat…was plain horrible. I tried to eat, I didn’t want to complain, I know times are difficult. But that steak was truly horrible.

Price was reasonable, and the food delicious! The service was friendly and prompt. I love the ambiance there, the contrast of industrial walls and pastoral paintings of the French countryside is lovely.

Nice casual place to grab a meal or dessert/coffee. Has some good pastry options, and other nice cafe style drinks. Very popular for outdoor seating on a nice day. Some good menu options as well for a decent meal.

What a delightful surprise. Tried this place because it was close to an event I attended, someone recommended it. Glad they did. All four of us were happy with our food from a big menu. We sat outdoors, don’t even know what the inside looks like. Very good service. And for a French restaurant with this quality, fair prices. I’ll be back. Located at the Helms Bakery

One of the few places in the area open earlier than 9, a truly delightful place to get the day started. The drinks are not really remarkable but the food and pastries certainly are. I got the Eggs Neptune and had the English muffin replaced with a croissant. I’m sure the cooks thought my choice was odd but trust me, egg and salmon on a fresh flaky croissant is a revelation.
