Ordered their version of Shrimp Scampi and my dinner companion had Calf Liver and Onions. You don’t serve rice with Shrimp Scampi which comes with pasta, the flavors clash as well as having Red Cabbage which has a vinegar base which also clashed with the Shrimp dish also for what you are paying $19.95 the portion of Shrimp Scampi was not worth it. The other person enjoyed their Liver and Onions which came with a small portion of sweet potatoes, a couple of carrot coins, undercooked green beans and Red cabbage. I will not return.

Nice people working there but can’t recommend it. Pasta was mushy not fresh, beans tasted like they came out of a can, cabbage was sour and carrots were sweet which didn’t fit in or mesh taste wise. The room did not look clean. More like a brothel. Big mistake.

Great date night. Ambiance is rustic dark European look with very interesting art on the walls. Our food was excellent and the staff was very friendly as well. My only thing was that they they seemed a little understaffed for a Friday night. We both did French cuisines because neither of us had eaten at a French restaurant, however they had plenty of German and Italian on the menu. Well worth the trip from Palm Harbor!

Stopped in here for the early bird special. The interior is a dark, eclectic mix of small, intimate ‘rooms’, and the waiter was amiable, even entertaining. I ordered the seafood special (haddock? I don’t remember) and was quite impressed when it came to me. The fish was excellent! But the side dishes really grabbed me! They had carrots marinated in some kind of liqueur that was outstanding! I highly recommend this place in Gulfport. I know I’ll be going back!

My husband and I celebrated our wedding with our family at the romantic La Cote Basque Restaurant Winehouse last June. This restaurant went the extra mile to accommodate all our needs. We got a Selected Menu and the food was simply delicious. Kudos to the Chef not only for the exquisite entrees but also for the dessert house specialty, a generous decadent chocolate cake! We loved their wines, the Riesling one has become my favorite! We also got a private room (actually two: one large and another one little for kids entertainment). Everything went perfect on our special occasion at this restaurant, and we appreciate very much their superb service at dinner. Many thanks to managers and owners for sharing this unique place with us, it has become a memorable location!

Went there on a Sunday with my family. Everything looks good on the menu. Had the french onion soup and the salmon dinner. The bread is amazing and has a slight sweet taste. Kind of wish they had another server, because service was a little slow for me, but I was starving. I will be back. Its great to find good clean family run businesses.

I have been going here with my sister for the last 7 years and food is always delicious. I like the elegant modern look it has, and the decorations are lovely. It is very unusual to see a resturaunt like this, which is unique. I like the staff, they are all family, and they always appreciate your business. I would have to say that reviews don’t explain what this restaurant has to offer, you have to go in, and see what’s inside. Also, if you ever have an issue let them know, they take care of their guest really well. It’s really inexpensive for such great food, because you can always find there dinner coupons everywhere. Everything is freshly cooked and they always work with my allergies. They bought me Gulten Free Cake just for our get together, because I requested it. If that’s not outstanding customer service, well I don’t know what is. The business has been here for over 40 years. If you have any trouble with your dinner or service, let them know! Also, I have to note, if you don’t like something a certain way(I am a picky eater as well), see what they can do, nothing is pre made.

Quirky, eclectic decor…kind of like an interior designer’s failed final exam but in a good way. Menu is all over the map (French, German, Italian). It shouldn’t work but it does. This was my third trip here and I haven’t had anything that wasn’t delicious yet. The sauerbraten I had was really good and the pate and calamari appetizers were outstanding. Prices are not ridiculously high. It’s worth a trip there just expect the unexpected when you walk in insofar as the decor
