This places use to be SO good under original owners. It is absolutely disgusting now. Mold on ceilings, floors have not been swept nor moped. Clutter everywhere. Tables do not appear to be clean. Bathrooms have scum and dirt on walls, floors and commodes. I don’t know how the health department has not come for this place. Will not be back. ☹️

I have eaten here for years I used to absolutely love it but they’ve consistently gone down hill over the last couple years. Today I got a spider roll to go and when I got home I saw they put no roe on it at all. They’ve always put roe on their spider roll and their website says it includes it. That’s my favorite part. Also ordered a shrimp sauce which they charge almost a dollar for and it’s water consistency and almost Pepto bismol pink. I’ve eaten a lot of sushi in my life and have never ever had a shrimp sauce look or feel like this. Totally unappetizing and can’t even stomach to try it. The picture doesn’t even do it justice. This place charges way too much for their food to be acting this careless. You either get to have cheap food and cheap quality or you can have expensive food that’s good quality. You can’t do both. I guess I’ll be taking a break from this place for awhile.

We dined in, a few minutes after our food arrived, I saw this roach on the straw caddy on our table!!!! They acted like it was no big deal!!!! Nope I didn’t eat my food and left, disgusted.

Service was terrible we asked for another minute to look at the menu and then when we were ready only front worker left and went to bathroom we rang bell she flushed toilet did not hear sink turn on we placed our order then the same lady left went and picked up the whole family and carried groceries to the back about 30 minutes later they finally came back with our food put the sauce on the wrong sushi so had to add it to the other one and I was forced to eat mine with sauce also will come back maybe one more time but must improve a lot or you will lose another customer

My first visit was excellent. My second visit was a disappointment. Mixed up our order and my daughter’s food (which they had to remake) arrived after I had finished eating. Some people had to sit outside and wait for their carry out due to small dining area.

Another hidden gem in the town of Troutman.
We ordered two Japanese Dishes to go and were quite pleased with the taste, quality and freshness of our food. The restaurant was clean, the staff were very friendly. Food was cooked to order and done within 20 minutes.
The price for our dishes were quite affordable. We will definitely make this one of our favorite food spots in Troutman.

This place used to be better. I always like the hibachi steak. Portions were great and meat quality was good. Over the last year I have noticed a significant change in the quality of meat I get. The beef is more grizzly and cheap. The family that runs this place is super sweet and I love to support local business. Maybe try the chicken?
