Pretty good experience here today! They weren’t using the conveyor belt for orders like in the pictures on other reviews, but maybe that was just today. Overall, the service was awesome and we were offered many water/tea refills and they came by our booth pretty often to take new orders.

This place was a huge let down. We sat down and the server said the food on the belt was “kinda fresh”. Well, it was not and nearly every dish on the belt circled through the entire time we were there. I asked if they were putting anymore food out and was told they don’t put fresh food out during slow times (it was 1:00pm). I can understand the goal of selling every dish you put out, but you are charging top dollar for old food. Very high prices for sushi that has been spinning around for at least 45 minutes, probably longer.

[FOOD: 2] The food was mediocre, there was nothing special about it. There just seemed to be something missing. Plus the price doesn’t really match the quality and quantity. Honestly I would not go out of my way to eat here.

It’s a bit different without the moving belt bring all the different sushi around but the spicy tuna is worth it! Lived here 20 years been to a bunch of sushi places this place has the best spicy tuna a regular around Hawaii!!! A must for fresh good price sushi!

This place is a shell of itself from years past. We went at 630pm on a beautiful Saturday evening and there was no wait for a booth. The higher prices were to be expected, but the food quality has gone way down. It seemed like nothing used sushi rice, they didn’t use ikura on anything that has ikura in the pictures, the components in the dons were really basic and made for a bland slog instead of good grinds.

Came in around 830pm and was seated in about 15mins. There was barely anything on the belt so we did most of our ordering through our server, which wasn’t too bad considering how fast the food came. The sushi tasted fresh but the prices are on the expensive side. I know sushi is expensive but damn! $9.95 for a fry shrimp roll, $2.95 for 2 California roll and they’re mostly rice as you can see in photos. Poke bowl also was just one small layer of poke on top and sooooo much rice on the bottom that went to waste. The croquettes looked good but tasted like uncooked dough. There’s barely anything in them. So gross i couldn’t finish the plate. The servers were constantly checking on you, making sure your water or tea cups were filled. Very intentive and friendly. One of the best group of staff I’ve have experienced. The total damage for party of 2 came out to around $50. We felt like we didn’t order at ease because of how expensive it was. Overall, it’s an okay place for some quick sushi if you aren’t too hungry.

I’ve come here twice and I fully plan to go again. It’s the dive bar of sushi but in a completely good way. Food is tasty and I enjoy trying new dishes because each one is the right size. The Goldilocks effect if you please.

Loved having dinner with the Ohana at this sushi restaurant. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our meal and will certainly be back! The fried salmon skin was the bomb. My husband loved the croquettes and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed her udon. The tempura tako was tender crispy and tastey. The tempura ahi was delicious. This is a must and a great bargain to top it off.

Great service and great food. Service is extremely friendly and courteous. The food, e.g., the spicy tempura maki, ika karaage, udon, miso soup, and even their soda float were delicious. Very clean and all Covid precautions are taken seriously here. Definitely our go to place for sushi!
