I got the spicy Tuna donburi and it was some of the freshest fish I’ve ever had. A little steep on the price, but it was so filling and amazing that I’ll definitely come back in the future!

Ordered the chicken katsu curry. For $19 the portions are really small and not even filling for the average size person. Majority rice, hardly any chicken. Better to try another place. $12 would be more reasonable

A delightfully relaxing corner restaurant. Interesting assortment of exquisite sushi. I found there to be a lot of choices. I very much enjoyed the ingredient list for them. This restaurant seems seemingly advanced in that art. The staff is delightful and friendly.

The nigiri was really well done and tastes great. Partner was not overly impressed with her Chirashi but the service was very welcoming. Food took an above average amount of time to arrive and there was only 3 tables dining. But, I suspect it was a staffing shortage as is common these days. Nevertheless, when it did arrive it was prepared well and with care which we did appreciate. Will come back again sometime.

The best place in Portland to get Zarusoba (Cold Soba). This Japanese restaurant is wonderfully authentic and presented in the Izakaya style. Much better than a standard fusion sushi restaurant. So many choices! The Umejiso Sushu was also great!

Wonderful sushi. The sushi specials were awesome. They have a lot of harder to find fish, much of it from japan. The sea urchin was the highlight, but the salmon belly was a close second. The sake and plume wine options are very good.

Japanese owned, so you know you’re getting a good Japanese American meal. One of the only places in portland that serves Ten Zaru (cold buckwheat noodles with assorted tempura). Both specialty rolls and nigiri options are delicious. Low key vibes a must go!

Came for the Ten Zaru Soba. Great choice. Best I’ve had outside Japan for a while.

BEST SUSHI I’VE HAD. Hands down. I will be back! Try the okonomiyaki (it’s like a veggie pancake). Also, how nice to have a spicy tuna roll that has fresh tuna inside, instead of the ground up tuna in most I’ve tried. Also, if you’re dining in, the waitress Taylor is very professional and attentive. Thank you for the delicious food and pleasant dining experience!
