Amazing discovery. Very friendly pricing for tasty flavorful korean fusion creations. Try the Original Koja, Umami fries and Beef tacos and thank me later. Will repeat and hopefully I get a free Koja for this review ✌️

Looking for something quick & yummy, stop by KoJa. I stopped by for lunch on a weekday, they weren’t to busy. They have a small seating area, a self-service ordering system as well as a cashier. Check it out

If you have never had their food, it’s worth a try. They have a good assortment of options for almost anyone to try. When I arrived it was quiet. The only one there for a while, no music. The fries were OK, they just lacked flavor, yet we’re the right amount of crunchy. My main was super sweet, and I believe I tasted the sauce more than the meat. I wish it was made so you could taste.

It’s good fusion but it just doesn’t fly with me. I ordered the pork koja and the short rib bowl. The pork koja is made like a portable rice bowl which is delicious but the rice buns are not cooked enough for me. I was hoping for a slightly crispier texture as the buns did not hold up while I was biting into my meal. The short rib bowl was standard in my opinion and didn’t “wow” me enough to think something of it.

Everything was really delicious! I got the braised pork rice bowl and it had really great flavor without being doused in sauce or salt. The pork was tender and cooked nicely. We shared the kamikaze fries and umami fries, which were good but could have used a little less sauce. Who can say no to waffle fries?

Delicious. Had the KoJa Original which is essentially a Korean-style short ribs sandwich where the buns are rice. Sounds weird and like it shouldn’t work, but it very much does. The rice bun monstrosity holds together well but eating this thing is still messy business.

This is my third time getting the wrong item in a to-go order… Can y’all at least take a quick look before packing the food up? Previously I got the wrong type of bowl, but this time, I ordered a Chicken Bowl and got Spam Musubi? Yikes

Great options! Vegetarian kamikaze fries were spicy fantastic with the soy & portabello substitute. Rice Patty on the Koja was yumm but my Teriyaki Zen Koja was missing just slightly more sauce. My Mister’s chicken bowl was good.

An absolute pleasure every time. The koja original sandwich + the umami fries are perfection. Such a cool restaurant. I really wish something like this existed in Atlanta. I can’t come into San Jose without coming!
