We’ve always come here for drinks, food and usually the bar that attracts us. Every single time we come we order off the menu inside get our food Togo and eat it outside to enjoy the band, which we already have to pay cover for. Usually our pepper dip, that we always order, come with grilled pita to dip inside, today we got stale tortilla chips and when asked for new (fresher ones) we were told they’d all be stale. They are very inconsistent. Last summer there was no cover for the bands, this summer it’s $5 at the door with expensive food and now today it’s $5 at the door and you can’t enjoy food anymore. Such potential this place has but unfortunately it’s going down hill. Definitely would recommend somewhere else for music that lets you enjoy dinner. Now we spent $50 to get in, with all our people, and left hungry because we can not eat the dinner we came here for.

I was visiting family and we decided to go to Kodiak Jacks for fish. I remember the place from over two decades ago and it wasn’t a place I would have gone to. But I found a very pleasant surprise as the owner has gone through enormous efforts to make Kodiak Jacks a pleasant family experience. The bar is segregated from the dining area and it was pretty full when we visited. Our fish came batter fried and Cajun. With it I had German potatoes and my companion had fries. Both plates also came with macaroni salad, cole slaw and rye bread. The star was the fish, very well done. When the batter is crunchy from the first bite to the last, you know someone has an excellent chef. I wish the same could be said regarding the salads, as we both agreed they were plentiful but bland. Service was 5 star, and those ladies were busy, busy, busy. They worked together and endured every table was happy.

First time here, didnt eat, bar and dining area were nice and comfortable by appearance. Outside was a band we went to check out with a small bar out back. Great area, good service. Had fun, would come back to try food or if the band looks good.

Best fish fry we’ve had this year. Beer battered fish was cooked perfectly and breading was very tasty. Sides were very good and loved the option of tots. Will definitely come back.

Kodiak Jack’s catered my daughter’s graduation party Saturday for 75 people and we couldn’t be more pleased! We had soooo many compliments and especially on the pulled pork and lazy pierogie!! Highly recommended!!!

If you are not from the immediate area, you will find Kodiak Jacks to be a really unique spot. It is located in an area surrounded by countryside and farms. Program it into your GPS so you might drive right by it.

We had a group of 8 and we came to eat dinner and watch the band which had a $5 cover when we tried to order dinner we we’re told that we could only order off the outside menu which only included picnic food otherwise we’d have to move inside to eat off the regular menu where now you can’t hear the music through the building so we paid cover and was unable to eat what’s the difference which food you order they lost out on over $200 in food shame on them I will definitely not come back and will spread the word

Excellent food, bar and top notch servers! The kids menu is the best deal around for a family. My favorite Friday fish fry. Just get there early or enjoy a beverage as you wait. They do get busy!! Weather permitting they have a huge outside grove seating area with another bar.
