I have been coming here since I was a toddler (and I’m in my 40s!) and breakfast is still as good as I remember as a child. This week we tried the sweet potato pancakes which were heavenly. I’m such a creature of habit and was scared to move from the buttermilk that are always amazing- but it was a great choice.

Our first time visiting. The food was good. We asked for the bacon to be well done and it was perfect. We especially liked that they had flavored coffee creamer. It was a little more expensive than our usual breakfast place. The only negative thing is if paying by card there is a 3% additional charge. Cash is KING here if you don’t want to pay 3% fee. I refuse to pay an additional fee to use my card.

Great experience and definitely would recommend. Sit in the back and you can watch the news. All the staff was so friendly and helpful. The food was fresh and seasoned perfectly. Definitely try the hash brown casserole. The omelette was full of fresh veggies and had a little too much cheese for me but will ask for less next time.

Outstanding food and service at this restaurant. Open seven days per week serving breakfast and lunch. The club sandwich with homemade chicken pot pie soup was fabulous. The service was 5 stars plus. As someone new to the area, I will definitely return to try their breakfast offerings. The prices are very reasonable.

The food here is really fantastic!! The service was excellent. The buttermilk pancakes are in a league of their own & the shrimp n grits are the !!! The sweet potato pancakes really didn’t even need syrup! 4 stars because the place is in desperate need of an update- it looks so old and dirty. When we walked in, I expected the smell of bacon or fried chicken but instead was met by the smell of a very old dusty house. The place was pretty packed though… great food I guess would trump a clean/aesthetically pleasing environment.

Our waitress Kelly was very nice and had the best sense of humor. She also made suggestions on best food or combing things that worked so well. Would definitely come back here. Thank you for the experience.

A very busy and fast turnover restaurant. I’ve eaten here many times over the years and no complaints.

Stopped by for a “little” breakfast. This diner reminds me of the local spots I grew up around. The staff was talkative, personable, and funny. We had a blast. As for the food, it was good comfort food. The sausage gravy was perfect along with my eggs and grits. We will absolutely be visiting again!

Great breakfast fare, served quickly. However, the interior atmosphere was very ‘greasy spoon’ diner quality; needs a deep cleaning or remodel. Very much a popular place that locals enjoy going to.
