Loved it… we go to their Alexandria location as we live near DC area. This time we were driving back from Myrtle beach and found this on maps… they were generous to accommodate our reservation… all that we ordered was delicious and full of flavors…

Amazing service. For my group to not have a reservation we were still accommodated at the bar. It was well worth it. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and did not have to be prompted to suggest his favorites as well as most popular dishes. He was spot on with everything he recommended.

Made a reservation for 5pm Saturday about 1 week in advance to dine w/my best friend. The restaurant was nearly empty for the majority of our time there since they opened at 5 pm. The music was great, the decor was beautiful, and everything was clean and inviting. All the staff were welcoming and our server Grace was beyond helpful. I don’t think I’ve ever been to an Indian restaurant and I had questions about each course and she gave great recommendations from cocktails to when to order our naan.

Nice ambiance, modern decor, noise level was good- easy to have a conversation. Service was good, though we had a trainee trying to take care of us. He has a ways to go, but his trainer was good. One pet peeve, was the awkward method used to wipe crumbs off the table between courses. We had a couple of bottles of wine. Wine list is limited, but had some solid choices. We tried 2 appetizers- Chicken jodhpuri ( excellent) and tandoori shrimp (not that good). For the mains we tried the lamb ghee roast (excellent), Goan style halibut(not good- overwhelmed by too much vinegar. I’ve been to Goa many times, and this is a poor representation), Hyderabadi dum Biriyani (less than average, the chicken, spices and rice had not melded together. If you want the genuine article, try the Biriyani at Hyderabad Biriyani House in Innsbrook). All the breads were outstanding- Garden naan, goat cheese naan and the plain naan were delicious. Both deserts we tried were very good. The Pistachio kulfi and Dal halwa tasted authentic and very flavorful. So overall more hits than misses. Definitely some room for improvement, but we would return since all in all it was a positive experience. Nice to have another upscale Indian restaurant.

The restaurant atmosphere is beautiful; a space you want to be in. Browsing the bar offerings, there are varying bourbons and gins that I would be excited to try in another visit. The dishes were lovely and delicious. I’m not sure we chose the right dishes to make this place a standout from Tulsi or Lehja. I also wished we could have modified the spice level. I would go back and it’s worth a visit, but I’m not sure it will make it into our routine rotation.

FANTASTIC FOOD! Splurged a little bit and split a Butter Chicken, Paneer Lajawab, Dal Makhani, and some Goat Cheese Naan. Again, everything was absolutely FANTASTIC.

First of all it’s very hard for me to give a five star review. I really have to be blown out of the water. The restaurant has been open two weeks and I think the staff is very well trained. Our waitress, Allie, was a delight and had a good understanding of all the different dishes. I haven’t eaten a lot of Indian food in my life, The restaurant had an interesting twist on the Indian dishes that really did make it modern Indian. We had two different kinds of non-the garden had this mustard seed on it and it was very unique and yummy. Dal makhani is one of my favorites and they had one of the better ones I’ve had in the United States. We really enjoyed the palate cleanser which was rosewater and cranberry. They have a nice selection of wines and I really enjoyed my cocktail!

I went here for dinner and was surprisingly VERY underwhelmed. The atmosphere and service was nice, however, the food was extremely mid and lacked flavor. The portion size was not worth the money, you are better off going to Lemon across the street for real authentic Indian food. The menu was quite small … they didn’t even have mango lassi!!!!
