Honestly, this place is better than most sushi restaurants in Bakersfield. It even looks nicer, not tacky in any way. You almost forget you’re in California, let alone Delano.

Great place looks very nice food is great the sushi is amazing!! there are other things besides sushi and not all of the sushi is raw like people think. good service great quality. They have alcohol and sake. They play a variety of music and have two restrooms if you are sushi virgin try the Casanova roll.

So here’s what happend when I went here, we ordered the bulgogi it was grossed it was still watery and bulgogi does not have water cuz its not a soup. Another thing is I saw the guy walked in with a cup noodles on his hand and he was trying to hide it. They serve the cup noodles to the customers for $3-$5, and the cup noodles cost $1. 2 years ago this place was good, but now I don’t reccomend anyone eating here.

Food was fine cash only restaurant so bring cash. Portion was kind of small for a teriyaki chicken plate. Parking is plentiful if parking in the back of the building. Teriyaki chicken bowl was even smaller. Maybe the portions were small because I had to go orders. The bowl came in a small to go box. The plate was in a full size to go box with no more than 1 chicken breast of meat. 1 compartment of the 3 the smaller one had a small amount of salad about the size of 2 peanut butter cups stacked. Wasn’t very much rice in the box either was still hungry after. Price was about $17 and some change for both items. Food ok

Great food. I asked for a poke roll, which was not on the menu and they happily accommodated. Their Hollywood fire roll was delicious. I’ll be going back.
