The food is good. But it is absolutely a rip off. This place used to be authentic and good. Now it’s sold to some new owners. I do not like this place anymore for that reason. ALL locations are a scam. They give you a tiny amount of meat and then 4 scoops of rice. The proportions are OFF. I used to come here all the time and now I won’t come back. Overpriced for the rip off amount of food you get. You are paying 50$ for just rice. STOP BEING GREEDY.!

The employees were very nice, but the food was way over-priced for what they are. First of all, the menu says entrées come with Jasmine rice, but it was definitely not Jasmine rice – just regular rice you’d expect when you go into a teriyaki place. The spicy chicken looked and tasted like a bottle of hot sauce like Sriracha was just dumped on the food. Sesame chicken had very little flavor, and maybe 10 sesame seeds. The fried rice was just very basic, my son said I make it better… It honestly wasn’t that horrible, but the price made it that it was hugely disappointing. $5-6 less per entrée and I would’ve shrugged it off.

I love Joy Teriyaki! It is by far my favorite teriyaki restaurant of all time. It reminds me of a place I went to when I was a kid. The bowls are perfectly proportioned and the price is great. I love the veggies, too! A lot of times the veggies are just a second thought in bowls like this, but not these veggies- they remind me of the inside of an egg roll!!!

We were craving teriyaki and this was one of the only places open late for DoorDash. Never heard of them, so I looked on Yelp for more reviews and photos. I should’ve listened to the negative reviews but wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. Big regret!!! We ordered 1 regular teriyaki chicken, 1 spicy chicken bowl and a strawberry bubble tea. As others have said on Yelp, the food is not like what is shown in the photos; especially the spicy chicken bowl. The regular teriyaki chicken was ok (nothing special) but there was no steam veggies as shown in the pic. As for the spicy chicken bowl.… It’s basically plain chicken with some red “spicy” sauce poured all over. That sauce tasted like it had ketchup in it. After removing the chicken on top, the bowl mostly consisted of rice and some chopped up veggies that I didn’t choose. The bubble tea was nothing spectacular. Quite disappointing and so not worth the price for all of this. You all should update your photos to show what the food actually look like. The spicy chicken bowl looks nothing like the picture you have shown. I would not order from this place again nor recommend it.

Food was great but I ordered a sweet and sour chicken bowl and received teryaki. While the teryaki was fine this was my first time ordering here because it was recommended to me so it was a pretty disappointing experience. They got all of the rest of the order correct. Blueberry boba is pretty good, their gyoza is great and their stir fried vegetables are great.

The employees were super nice, but the food was way over-priced for what it is. Despite what the menu says, it was definitely not Jasmine rice. The spicy chicken looked and tasted like a bottle of hot wing sauce. Like franks red hot or something. Not the flavor I expected from spicy teriyaki. Kind of off-putting. Vegetables were over cooked. It honestly wasn’t that bad tasting, but the price is what made it disappointing. Along with that, they nickel and dime you- 28 cents for sriracha sauce? You can’t afford to let customers get one sauce free before charging? That’s annoying. I’d come back if they could be more customer friendly in their pricing scheme

Sesame chicken was over cooked, and had absolutely no sauce on it whatsoever. Which surprised me, because I’ve never been to an Asian joint that could absolutely f up a dish like that.

They served us all our utensils and plates, and I thought that was neat. The teriyaki sauce stays in a crockpot, warm and fresh.
