The exterior of this place does not look like what you would expect for a top chop house, but this is a perfect example of “don’t judge a book by the cover”. The moment you enter you can see it is everything you expected plus more. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. Our server, Terra, was delightful. She was very helpful and attentive. The food? Oh yea, AMAZING! I enjoyed the Chophouse chicken, French onion soup and my husband ordered the rib eye steak, Mac and cheese, and a salad. The dessert was a spectacular spice carrot cake with just the right amount of delicious cream cheese frosting. When we were leaving we noticed down at the end of the building was a place called Jones Gin Joint. We will be back to check it out. We highly recommend Jones ChopHouse for dinner in you are in the area. Enjoy!

The food here is absolutely amazing. We have been visiting in the Lake of the Ozarks for years. We never even knew this restaurant was around. Mouth watering steaks, great atmosphere, and our server was stellar. Located on KK near Margaritaville. It was not crowded nor rowdy.

This is located right off of KK across from the Oak’s golf course. We loved the warm atmosphere here. It has the feel of a beautiful lodge. Friendly staff and excellent service. The menu is a bit pricey, but for what you get, it is in line with the rest of the lake. The prime rib was amazing, salads were good, and the cashew encrusted chicken was delicious. They bring you bread baked in a flower pot. I had the grilled shrimp. I probably would not do that again. They were just medium sized shrimp grilled. They were kind of underwhelming, but my fellow diner was pleased with hers. They bring out the food on quaint wooden carts. I would go back and try a different entree, as they all looked very good.

We were there last night and had a horrible experience. There were six of us there and one in our party ordered prime rib. Unfortunately our waitress never came back to check on us to see how things were. When it came time to pay the bill, the person who had the prime rib (which she had only had a couple of bites of) told the waitress it was not good and not typical of their food. It was well done and had a strange flavor. She did offer a free desert which was not wanted. A few minutes later the manager came to our table and in a rude voice asked “who needs to talk with me”. Our friend very sweetly said her prime rib was not good and that she didn’t like confrontation. She said she had ordered it in the past and it was wonderful. The immediate response was “well no one else has complained about it tonight”. She also offered a free desert but was not willing to take the prime rib off the bill. Our friends husband said “I’ll pay for it one more time, but we won’t be back”. We will not be returning either. Everyone else’s food was delicious and it is such a shame that a simple “I’m so sorry, let us take it off your bill” was not offered. Every now and then mistakes can happen with food. A great attitude with customers can overcome those mistakes!

Jones Chop House is a great addition to the Osage Beach dining scene. The atmosphere is relaxed. The staff is warm and inviting. The drinks are superb. The menu is a delicious mix of classics and new creations. Spiderweb Shrimp and Mussel Fries are not to be missed. Bone-in pork chop is phenomenal. Ribeye is juicy and flavorful. Shrimp and Grits are second to none.

We attended your Easter Buffet. The food was amazing. You did need more wait staff. Your receptionist needs to be demoted to dishwasher. I do not mind waiting my turn but after waiting for over an hour and watching small and large parties coming after us and being seated while I am still waiting I have a problem with that! When I and 2 other parties inquired she said that the parties after us were eating in the Gin Place. Well, sweetie I already checked the Gin Place and they were not. When I confronted her with her response and pointed out the said parties eating in the main dinning room, she found us and the other 2 parties tables.

Food was delicious, absolutely fantastic. Service was horrible. Had a party of 15 for an anniversary party for family from South Carolina. Our server was obviously annoyed that she had a larger table and it was apparent she wasn’t trained on the etiquette of taking big table orders, was jumping all around and had no clue who got what when delivered. I definitely wouldnt recommend this place and doesnt even deserve a star at all. We came to this place for our anniversary and had the worst food ever. I ordered Burger and came out raw (still so pink and bloody when i cut it). Ask to get it cooked well done and came out worst than the first. It seems intentional the 2nd time around. I am of a different ethnicity and not sure if that was part of it? The cook didnt like serving people of a different color and intentionally messed up the food. My husband ordered lamb and it was nasty. The food is definitely not worth the price you pay. It looks to be a high-end restaurant but the food is not good at all. Might as well eat at fast-food that might turn out better than the food here.
