I ordered my usual pizza with garlic sauces (my kids and I don’t like it without the sauce) and tipped well. The driver showed up without the sauces but told us he’d go right back to get them. He never came back. We waited an hour before calling, only to be told they were “too busy” to fix their own mistake. The employee on the phone apologized and promised a free pizza credit for the inconvenience.
That credit never showed up. When we called days later, the manager, Theresa, flat-out refused to honor what her own store promised. After we explained the situation, she said she “wasn’t there” and didn’t know what the driver actually said or what the employee told us, essentially implying we were making it up. Instead, she offered a $4 credit for the missing sauces and said we’d have to call the store next time rather than order online. She could have made it right with a single click, but chose not to. She made no apology for how the store handled the situation, didn’t care that we didn’t get our order, didn’t care that we waited an hour for him to come back, with cold pizza, for them to ghost us. They couldn’t even call us to let us know they wouldn’t be coming back like they had said. Because they were “too busy” to make it right.
The problem wasn’t the missing sauce. It was the store’s complete lack of follow-through, ghosting us twice, and then refusing to honor their own commitment. It’s frustrating and disappointing from a location we’ve supported for years.
Theresa, garlic sauce doesn’t drive customers away. Rudeness does. And with that 2-star rating, you might want to think twice about which one you’re serving. Off to write a letter to corporate, because if a manager can be that rude, I can be that persistent.
Horribly managed, staff incapable of consistency. Drive to another or waste your precious money every single time. This is a premium priced pizza. This is flavored bread, not pizza.
UPDATE……exhausted & received an ad from dominoes. I decided to order on
5/27/25. I ordered 2 specialty pizzas with extra cheese on both & extra ingredients. Both pizzas crap. Screwed over again. They gave me a credit, but who cares. It’s horrible pizza. Whoever makes them can’t read & or just doesn’t care.
Dominoes, don’t do it.
I must say there has to be new management or something changed recently. I ordered tonight and it was at my door in less than 20 minutes. I asked them not to knock because I didn’t want my dogs to go wild. They respected my wishes. Oh. And the food. Top notch. Best food I’ve had from dominos ever.
