This is a hole in the wall that never disappoints. Food is fantastic, I have had the Italian, Cheesteak and Turkey club and they are great. There really isn’t “atmosphere” here as it’s a walk up window to order and then a few tables under a porch. Flavor makes up for it!

I don’t understand why there isn’t a line going around the corner all day long at this place. Their sandwiches are the tastiest in OC! I got the John’s Special with everything – delicious! And the staff is so nice and friendly. The place looks like a dive at first glance, but don’t let that dissuade you. It’s part of the charm!

This place is great, my first time in. Had the 6-in works and half order of fries.. and it was some of the best I’ve had! This is one of those simple places that gets it right! Large portions.. I’ll go back to for years! Staff actually speak to you, and kindly LOL. Cool spot!

I discovered this place driving by when visiting a family friend. I walked over and as soon as I walked up you could tell it was going to be good. So I ordered a number one (Philly Cheesesteak with onions and peppers and a Hank’s Root Beer). It took no time for the sandwich to come out. I walked it home and I was so surprised how good the sandwich was. The bread was fantastic and the meet and cheese inside tasted fantastic. If you are looking for a great spot to grab a Philly Cheesesteak this is the place. I will be coming back.

Cheese Steak was not cooked fresh as I thought it would be. Reheated steak on the flat top was very dry. Major difference from the last time I had one.

I got bread with black spots looks like the beginning of mold starting to grow. I called them and they said all their bread is that way…??? I told them I’m a cook and I know what moldy bread looks like, they told me Donna comes in Tuesday and it was Saturday so I guess Im supposed to sit on this moldy bread for 4 days…. Heads up check the food and dressings sometimes they are already bad they dont even check them they are too busy slapping everything together nobody is doing quality control… I won’t be eating here anymore lost my appetite don’t want diarrhea.

Had a really weird experience. Got a cheesesteak in the rain, restaurant wasn’t busy, parking lot wasn’t crowded. I ate in my car. 5 min into eating, someone at the restaurant started yelling at me from inside the restaurant. Wanted to know if I was Mike, I am not Mike. 2 min go by, knock on my window. Are you Mike? No. What are you doing here? With a cheesesteak half eaten on my driver side, I reply eating a cheese steak.
