Great place to get a bite to eat and talk with friends over a game. My wife and I went on a spur of the moment decision, and we were so glad we did. The food was very good (if slightly expensive) and the service was perfect. Everyone played Battleship Bingo (so fun!). Nice selection of beer too! We will definitely be going back.

Love this place! There are lots of games to choose from and there is no charge to play, which I find generous. They have a cafe counter where you can order a light meal/snack or a beverage (coffees, beer/wine, sodas). I found the prices to be more than fair.

We stopped in for the first time after hearing many good things from my social circle. It did not disappoint! I’ve been to other game themed restaurants in other regions. The Sideboard was cleaner, offered better food selections, and was overall more enjoyable than other similarly themed establishments we’ve been to. The staff was attentive, very helpful and service was great. Love the variety of beverages. I also love that you can get a snack, eat a meal, or grab a little dessert. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful decorations and themed around games to compliment Cape Fear Games next door. Exciting menu, I highly reccomend stopping in, getting a sandwich and playing ine of their boardgames they have available! I had the roast beef sandwich and the apple fries, absolutely delicious!

Love the new cafe beside Cape Fear Games!! Delicious food served hot and quick, very nice beer selection, reasonable pricing. Wide array of board and card games to play in shop, or you can step next door and buy something new you haven’t tried yet (we did!). Great atmosphere, pleasant hum of conversation. Will be back!

This place is really cool. There’s a doorway into the game store next door inside the restaurant. They have all different kinds of foods that would appeal to adults and also children. The thing about this place that makes it so great is they have all kinds of board games I’d say over a hundred different ones of all different levels. So you could go take your family have cool little bites of things to eat and play tabletop board games. Which is exactly what I did
