Stopped by here for a quick bite after leaving the nearby apple orchards. Wasn’t super hungry so just ended up grabbing some french fries and ice cream, both of which were good. The menu is quite big for a place this size. Lots of ice cream flavors to choose from. It is located right off the main road. There is a decent amount of parking space available as well as outdoor seating. (picnic benches) There are a few kiddie rides there as well. One thing that stood out that I love seeing is business having friendly, helpful and respectful young people working there. All staff we encountered were very nice. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area. With the massive menu, there really is something for everyone. Happy environment!

I grew up off of Lake Walton Road and have fond memories of walking down to Joe’s (Yules) as a special treat in the summer time. The sound of the gravel crushing mixed with the smells of the grill. Great times. Now-a-days Joe’s is a bit too crowded for me so it is the first place I think of for a fun lunch on a quiet monday or online pickup order. My personal favorites are the (sliced and cooked) hotdogs with the milkshake. (Perry’s ice cream) I also can recommend the French fries, the triple decker blt and the fried shrimp meal. Check them out.

Recent transplant to Dutchess County and I’ve driven by this place dozens of times while getting around town. Saw the place buzzing with customers each time and made a mental note to check it out soon. Doesn’t look like much but there’s a certain charm to it that sorta draws you in. Anyway, I finally went about a month ago while it was still chilly out and was immediately greeted by a friendly young lady at the window. Told her it was my first time there and that I was curious if there was anything particular that people came in for. She said people come for the burgers, so I ordered one with fries and asked for bacon on it as well. The burger did. not. miss. Grabbed my kids chicken tenders, fries and onion rings. The tenders looked like pretty standard fare but that burger brought me back for tonight’s dinner and it was still good, so I’m grateful for the consistency. Ice cream options were plentiful. I had the cookies and cream my first time out but today opted for the peanut butter s’mores topped with cake crunch because I was feeling a little dangerous. This is a really cool spot to just kick back on an early summer evening when it’s warm and the breeze is just right… I’ll be coming back a bunch in the coming months. If you’re in the area and/or have been on the fence about going, do it.

Simply the BEST ice cream spot in Dutchess County. Nothing else compares. And they come out with specialty shakes that are as Instagram worthy as they are delicious. The only reason I’m not giving them five stars is because of the food and atmosphere, which is alright but not the best. Come for the ice cream though, you won’t regret it.

Ordered ice cream and worker got the order wrong. I wasn’t mad until I asked for the one I wanted and she gave me an attitude telling me she didn’t get it wrong. I see multiple one star reviews that have had the same experience.
