Joe’s Crab Shack offers a variety of favorites from all parts of the sea and shore. From its extensive menu, guests can choose from buckets of seasonal seafood, fried shrimp platters and fish dishes, as well as options from the “mainland” that include steak, sandwiches, and chicken. Guests can indulge in over-sized and creative cocktails, such as the Shark Bite which is playfully garnished with a shark toy. We came here and spent 94 dollars, the crab dip was delicious as our appetizers so our hopes were for the entree. I ordered the steamer and my girlfriend ordered sirloin and shrimp. She asked for well done and it came out medium well as well as cold in the center. Her shrimp were hard and tuff to chew. The steamer had no seasoning or flavor and was super dry. The only good part it was the corn which sucks because we had high hopes for this place. I would advise if your in the area drive an extra 30 minutes to shore drive and the oceanfront for fresh and cheap better tasting seafood then this.

had one of the best surf and turf ever. who knew great steak at a seafood joint… months later So went back AUGUST 9 2023 Approximately 8 PM. Got the shrimp sampler was disappointed. all shrimp over cooked minus bacon wrapped shrimp cook correctly. This just proves that it is the cook and maybe they should start announcing the cook for the night and start rating them so we can rate the cook and not necessarily the restaurant, but i still stand behind the surf and turf from my first visit best steak ever. Who ever cooked it was awesome and should start a restaurant or get a raise.

This place is very pricy. Took my wife here. We had an appetizer, I had 1 drink, she had a mock tail. We had a plate special, and the bill was over 170. Not including tip. While the sever was mediocre at best, she expected to gain a healthy tip. The steak was not cooked as we requested, and the lobster tail was soo small. The drink was mainly mixer. For the price I expected a better experience. The portions were nice sized, however, the flavor was not there for a sit-down meal. Will I return, if someone takes me there and pays the bill, however I will request a different establishment. If I have no choice, I will try to be grateful. Poor experience for us. This was our second dining experience with this place. Not again if we can help it. Just being honest.

Do not do it. We paid $150 for a lackluster meal. I went with my boyfriend, my meal was served 15 minutes before his. I didn’t want to eat without him and because of that my $50 crab bucket was cold by the time I ate. Waitress was scarce and there were only five tables max the whole time we were in there and I don’t even think my waitress had another table. I ordered the garlic seasoning for my crab bucket and there was no seasoning. Do yourself a favor, if you wanna leave a seafood restaurant full and satisfied just go to Captain George’s. You’ll get way more crab for a lot less money and their service is way better. Like all the other reviews I’ll probably get a robot response and that’s OK because nothing would make me come back to this place. There’s no management of this place at all.

It was a great experience. The staff was attentive. The food was pretty good as expected. I frequent the chain, it’s been a while since I’ve eaten at this location. It was too good to get a before meal picture. I know the chain had lost its popularity but I don’t see why.

Service was great….food was pretty disappointing. The waitress said the shrimp and crab nachos were really good (so we got those) & they were really good. We also got the stuffed mushrooms (really bland tasting honestly). The “east coast platter” was ok but the bacon wrapped shrimp were really tough (way overcooked) & the crab cake or seafood cake tasted basically like the stuffed mushrooms. The coleslaw was ok. Overall I would say that it really wasn’t worth $99 (it could have been, but the flavor and cooking just wasn’t on par with what you’d wanna pay that much for). 2 stars was mainly because of the waitress (she was really nice).

The entire meal was microwaved. The shrimp was almost impossible to chew. The rice was dry and had no flavor at all. Half the bread was burnt black and the other half was edible. The children’s Mac and cheese with fruit cup was Kraft Mac and cheese with a dole fruit cup.
