Amazing omakase experience. We were led from the entrance to the back room where it felt like a private experience. First experience where some of the theme was Michael Jordan as well (love it). Our chef was knowledgeable and very social! Every one of our pieces were great and delicious. Easily one of our favorite omakase experiences and would come back whenever we are in Chicago.

My very first omakase and everything was excellent. I’ve never had nigiri so delectable. The service was superb as well, everyone was so pleasant and had good vibes. My dinner guest did not eat red meat and the chefs were understanding and accommodating. A definite must while you’re in Chicago.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the city! Super friendly, accommodating, and delicious! I don’t eat seafood so I order the chicken karaage, 1 Up, and a veggie roll – all so good. My partner loves sushi so I took him here for the Omakase on his birthday and they were so kind to let me experience it with him while ordering from the restaurant menu. He said it was the best Omakase he’s ever had! Cannot recommend this place enough!

A great restaurant remodeled by the winery, with large winemaking equipment as a landscape. The food is exquisite and delicious. The table omakase is highly recommendable. A la carte is also a good choice. The ingredients are fresh, delicious and memorable.

From the moment you walk in you are greeted with a smile that warms your heart! The menu is extensive and the food taste absolutely delicious. Everything is cooked to a particularly high standard. Everything was excellent, the atmosphere, the service, and of course the food. The staff was so friendly and took great care of us. We recommend the sushi and the unique cocktails! We absolutely LOVED Jinsei Motto we can’t wait to go back !

What a cool place! Jinsei Motto is attached to CH Distillery (maker of Malort), so Jinsei Motto has an upscale hipster vibe — and I mean that in a positive way! It’s a great spot to have amazing sushi (rated top 5 in Chicago) and have some incredible cocktails too. The staff was overwhelmingly friendly, and I absolutely had a blast. I’ll be coming back soon!
