I have avoided this kind of food and last night bought a (#16) grilled chicken, mozzarella sub. What a mistake. The bread is like an inflated balloon that flattens when you hold it. I don’t believe there was real chicken. And they gave you so very little of this chicken “food”… something reconstituted Considering the extreme cost for what you get for your money and the exceptionally low quality of the food, I can’t understand why anyone would ever eat there Later I couldn’t get the nasty taste out of my mouth. This is truly a revolting excuse for a sub shop.

I spent a week in SoCal, stretching from San Diego to L.A., and everything in-between. I’m a foodie! More over, I am a huge fan of fine quality deli Subs and sandwiches. So, I made my way to Salona beach to take on the Sub Kings that humbly created tons of buzz through out the San Diego coast.
I rushed in and was immediately greeted with attentive smile and a fast response to fullfil my request. Mind you, this being my first time in a Jersey Mike’s,…it was super neat, clean, and didn’t have the mugginess of an over baked sourdough that made you smell like Subway. I hate smelling like cooked food, more importantly eating in a deli with poor ventilation.
I’m happy to rate Jersey Mike’s as a 5 Eating Experience for Clean Atmosphere, exceptional quality of taste, texture of products, gold medal customer service, and an overall excellent Experience.

I ordered the breakfast #2 which consists of freshly baked popy seeded bread that was entirely most inside and a gentle crispy layer of WOW! It was combined with wholesome freshly cooked eggs, nicely crispined quality bacon, and creamy sharp cheddar cheese. I am definitely in awe!

The best breakfast! This is the only Jersey Mike’s in the area that I know of that does breakfast and they do it all day. It is hands down the best! The sausage egg and cheese sandwich and then adding Mike’s hot honey and onions is the bomb!

I’ve been going to this Jersey Mike’s location for years as I work nearby and I’ve consistently been impressed by their high quality food and impeccable customer service. Great service is becoming harder to find these days, but Eusebio and his team has far surpassed my expectations consistently, making my long work days a little bit easier. This is one of my very first reviews. Ive worked in the fast food business for close to 10 years and I had my husband call and simply request the oil and vinegar on the side… the person that helped us was very eager to please, yet once we got our order nothing was on the side. I try not to complain about the food that I order but it’s upsetting getting the wrong order delivered. I don’t know where things went wrong but I feel like it’s up to the employees to ensure that every order goes out correctly.
