This location is a very convenient lunchtime stop for me, occasionally dinner. I usually use the app. I’m all over North and South Carolina traveling and this is the cleanest Jersey Mike’s I’ve ever stepped foot in.

I was in the evening of 8/2/2023. I also sent a private message last evening (26 hours ago) to give fair time to respond… But you didn’t so here we go… 🙁 While my regular #7 was being “topped” I mentioned to the “blonde” young man that removing toppings ( using his hand to sweep lettuce – like a broom- from the previous sub (he put toppings on without asking what was wanted) and putting them back in the fresh topping containers is considered cross contamination. Another employee spoke up and assured me I was WRONG!!! It was NOT!! I mentioned possibly an allergy to those foods that touched you were “reusing”. He stated he had a “food handlers card” and again I was WRONG! (I have worked as a bartender/server in MB for over 25 years so I do have knowledge of allergies and such). So I just zipped it.. I then pay for my $9.45 sub and bag of chips $1.69. I added my additional tip. And leave. I get home and look at my receipt and I was charged $32.26.. What?? It should have been $11.14 + tax + tip BUT with my sub & chips in hand I get back in my vehicle and drive back to your location. The cashier tries to tell me I forgot my Giant #13 a $19 sub I never ordered, never wanted && never received.. (and would never eat) After waiting for a guy to fumble at the register for my refund he claimed it would be credited within 24 hours. Wrong… Still pending, no credit.. Very frustrating after working 9.5 hours plus my 2 hour commute to grab a quick meal and deal with this.. I was excited for your location to open since it’s basically across the street from my neighborhood but I when charged tripled for a sub, spoken to like I’m a dumb A** and God only knows the cross contamination going on at your location I see why you have so many bad reviews.

My husband stopped in yesterday to pick up 2 subs for us for dinner. It was supposed to be 2 Italian subs. We got them home and they were ham and provolone. No cappicolla, no salami, no pepperoni. HOW do you order 2 Italian subs and get 2 ham and cheese sandwiches? Not even close to the right thing. Not to mention, he paid for 2 Italian subs which I’m sure are pricier than a ham and cheese. I understand this location just opened, but I would think the difference between these 2 sandwiches would be in training 101

I was extremely disappointed in the service I received at this location. I ordered a giant tuna sub for $22 and did not notice the person bagging the sub did not secure the inside wrapper, when I lifted the sub the entire sandwich fell all over my car. When I called them back about returning to the shop, I really felt as if they were blaming me. Super disappointing as I was really looking forward to my lunch. It’s worth the ride to Calabash deli or N.Myrtle for excellent customer service.

Everything was great. But my first Italian Sub had Mayo in it. Ask first what the customer wants. That was about a month ago. May have been the new hired help. Most NJ, NY and Pa. Italians just want oil and vinegar. No Mayo. Keep up good work.

Having been a long time fan of Jersey Mike’s, I was very disappointed the first time I went to this one. My husband ordered an Italian sub and specifically asked for oil and vinegar. They gave us MAYONNAISE! By the time I got home with it and realized it I decided to eat it anyway. It was terrible. Sliced pickles and tomatoes instead of chopped . The ones I’ve had at the Sunset Beach location were perfect. I doubt that I’ll return to this one.

Both of our bowls were exactly as ordered. Food was fresh and very flavorful. They’re still working out the kinks, people. Give them a hot minute!

Great service at this location. It is clear they have learned the ropes and doing a great job processing through the orders. I have a feeling the first bad reviews were from initial training issues.

Horrible experience the only 2 times I’ve been there. I’ve eaten at jersey Mike’s many many times at diff locations, never had them try to give me the wrong sub. I hope they get their act together
