We heard about JAX now being open 7-days a week from friends who stated it was good and there was live music. We went on a Friday night and in the background was a singer entertaining a group of people in the dining room. We settled into the bar and the bartender greeted us with enthusiasm & a willingness to serve. He prepped our drinks quickly let us enjoy them then gave us a menu. As a side note they have a happy hour menu from 3 pm to 7 pm daily! They have some nice offerings on their HH menu.

I use to rate & recommend this restaurant. Unfortunately due to low staffing, we are being told that they are no longer doing prime rib and no longer serving bang bang shrimp which were by far the 2 best items on their menu.

Ordered take out from the dinner menu. Rib eye steak cooked to perfection (I am very picky)!! Husband got salmon and that also was very well prepared. Everything seasoned well and delicious!! Much better with new management in place.

We had reservations for 6:15, that was timely. The servers were friendly. This is where things go downhill. The restaurant had maybe 10 tables occupied with 3 servers. We waited for 15 minutes before they took our order, they forgot our appetizer, we mentioned it and were told it takes a long time to fry the chips. After sitting there for an hour our food arrived. We ordered burgers, 1 out of the three were correct. We were there for over an hour and a half sitting in patio dining with no patio heaters in 55° weather. The hamburger was bland the meat itself didn’t have much flavor. It was a disappointing dinner for 65.00.

5 of us had lunch on opening day and we all ordered different items and agreed we would easily order any of them again. Remodeled setting is very nice (we ate outside) and loved the views. Service was good and food came fairly quickly. Very nice to have a new nice place to take company that is so close to home.

Great staff, very friendly manager chated us up. Our party had the three specials, all were ok. I’ve had much better lunches there. Very reasonably price menue items, closed early but understand why.

So disappointed. Service was friendly. Had to wait a bit to order desert, but the server was working alone, as far as I could tell. Cleanliness was an issue. Saw a large bug outside the bathroom and a pile of dirt that was forgotten (to be swept up) by our table. The food: so the burgers, fries and fish n chips were fine. My gf flatbread with grilled veggies was terrible. The flatbread was undercooked, and the veggies were in chunks so that grilling of them was impossible, which means they were undercooked as well. Overall, we felt we way overpaid for what we got. We will not be back, unless it’s for fries and a drink. (But the margarita was really sweet for me.)
