Food was delicious! Portions great for the price. Staff was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere has significantly improved with the bar & pool table. They even have open mic nights on Thursdays. Highly recommend!!!

I ordered the brown stew fish with rice and peas and veggie. It was delicious and I enjoyed it very much. The fish was stewed in a nice sauce and the rice was shelly and flavorful. The cabbages was nice and crunchy. Overall, my dinner was great and the service was excellent. Great spot to enjoy great authentic Jamaican cuisine.

I learned yesterday that if you live in Melbourne, you have to travel a bit to reach any genuine Jamaican place. They didn’t have what my fiancé wanted twice, I’m surprised he didn’t want to try at another restaurant. They said it would take 30 minutes on the phone. When we got there they STILL did not have what he ordered so they started on some stew and then ask what else he ordered which was my ox tail because they had no curried goat, but what was the point of ordering on the phone and waiting just to order something neither of us really wanted to eat. They give 1 decent piece of oxtail but the rest is bone. If I had nothing my customers ordered and waited for them to come pick up their food to even start the order, I would make sure the food is exceptional at least. Sadly nothing good came out of that visit.

Honestly not been a huge fan of Caribbean food in the area until Jamrock opened. Food is DELICIOUS and true Caribbean. We typically go for jerk chicken or curry chicken plates – both amazing. Set up is cool too for eating in / lounging. They also have a pool table 🙂

Never had Jamaican food before. The fried chicken with rice lunch plate was fantastic. 10/10 will recommend.

So I give this place a 4 all around, reason why is I only get the veggie beef patties here. The place looks cool. I haven’t been there in the eveung for the bar but I plan to soon. Then I can give a fair star rating.

OMG!!!!! I went to this restaurant today. It was the worst experience I have ever had in my life and Please believe I eat out a lot restaurants. I ordered my food at the restaurant at 2:35 and got my food at 3:35 and nobody was at the restaurant. I only order two things. I would revise anyone not to come to this restaurant at all. Customer service is the worst I have ever had in my life. It was at the counter, giggling and gossiping, not paying tension to the customers at all and the kitchen.
