I went this Saturday night. I gave the bartender my debit card and asked her to take $20 off so we could play pool, pick songs on the jukebox and play darts. After getting my receipt, on the tip, I wrote $0 and gave the bartender a $5 cash tip. Sunday night when my debit transaction updated it stated $28. The sad thing is I had a really good time at this place and would have visited this establishment again and brought other patrons (as i was invited by others who frequent). I called this morning and the line just rang. Very disappointed. If you want to trust the bartender that is making your drinks and taking your money at a bar then this is not a place to visit. Will update on outcome of my $8 refund from Jack’s Tap…. 3 months later on this update. A wonderful member of the staff (female), I should have remembered her name, advised me to come in and get my money back if my back refused to dispute the charge. The bank did refuse but I will count it as a loss because I am not driving from Cary to Fayetteville for $8. I do appreciate her diligence in trying to get my money back. The fact that she called me and was apologetic to a situation she was not part of shows great customer service. So thank you, lady whose name I can’t remember. You are a gem and they are lucky to have you.

The regulars scared me and made me feel so welcome at the same time. It’s so cozy, like my living room on my 3rd day of a bender. I love it here. Lauren, the bartender, was a tall drink of gawth tequila. Top shelf. She’s literally the hottest person in Fayetteville and she knows how to make a Paloma. Ew. I’m obsessed.

Bartenders steal your cards, add their tip of choice and forge your signature, be careful, police are getting involved & took money that didnt belong to them, dont use your card! Owner was care-less about the situation.

So this bartender tonight told me I could not get another beer because it was last call at 1:45 then continued to serve other I tipped$0 and then my friend heard her say I could not come back but I did not hear her be glad. One of the reason I can count in one hand how many time I been here & hate Fayetteville. Notice I was told no in a sober state before 2.

Waited a VERY long time to get a drink, though there were only 5 people sitting at the bar. The atmosphere felt a little off as well. However, I did meet a very nice couple there.

Pleasantly surprised by this dive bar! I came in on a pretty dead night, but enjoyed it. A nice fenced-off area in the back with picnic tables.

Delicious drinks!!! Wonderful service. The two bartenders were so nice and made really good drink suggestions. This will be the new spot.

Really cool kinda dive bar. Everyone is friendly. Very LGBTQ+ accepting, but anyone is welcome. One of my favorite places since I’ve had to be here from Boston.

4.5/5 very friendly crew, drinks were great, pool and music was also awesome! Very diverse crowd but I wish there was a bit more options for people visiting who don’t know what’s the “norm” but besides that I had a blast!

One of my favorite bars in the greater Fayetteville area. Jacks has consistently maintained one of the only safe-place, “come as you are” locations in the area. Bartenders are always friendly and the atmosphere is so welcoming. Everyone that has come here over the years has become family. The owner is so generous, providing free food, cookouts and special events for her customers and always greets everyone with a hug. Def recommend if you’re visiting or just moved here.
