Service was outstanding, I went for the first time with two of my old college friends. We really enjoyed the food, our waiter was very kind, There was a family across us, they seemed to really be enjoying themselves. I could tell this is a elleclent place. But the food was a little hot.

This is a super cute place. The decorations are adorable. The outside and inside is very clean. The tv plays amazing surfing the entire time. We were seated right away because they were not very busy. Our waitress did not notice us so we sat there forever before she came to take our order. The people that came in well after us even had their food. It took about 40 minutes from the time we were seated to actually eat and at they point we were exhausted from our trip down there. I had the Yaki tacos and on the menu they sounded delicious but I would say they were just okay. The flavors did not blends well for me.

I’m surprised to read so many negative reviews. I moved to the area last summer. Islands is one of my top favorite restaurants because of their burgers and tempura beans. I’ve been regularly coming over to this location, and I can see why people are so disappointed with the long wait time. As a former retail worker, I understand that being short on staff is no fun.
