Great food and atmosphere! I’ve eaten there twice and I’ve loved everything I’ve ordered, as has my wife. The relationship between Big Dog Daddy’s and the Medina Brewing Co. is fantastic.

Food is pretty decent but contrary to what other reviews say about the shared space it’s a very odd relationship. You have a waitress at a table that can only take your food order. Drinks are on you to get on a separate bill at the bar. If the bar is busy good luck. We went while the bartender was stocking so I felt as if I was bothering her for evert refill. She was super nice but my waitress for the food just sits there waiting to run another food order. In my opinion this relationship between bar and food could be handled much differently. Make customers place their own food order and either have strictly a food runner or give out numbers/vibrators for customers to pick up their own food and let the baretender do her job ensuring your drinks are filled, all the while earning a tip. Seems the current set up screws both out of tip money bc if you sit at the bar you still have to deal with the waitress who, even though is standing next to your drinks, can’t fill them and you have to run 2 tabs. Maybe the millenials and gen z people of medina don’t care but again just seems like there is a better system available bc if it was busy a person just coming to eat would be screwed. Unless you drank water and you can fill plastic cups up from a sports cooler that is sitting 6″ from an open trash can. Call me old school but with the cost of a meal I shouldn’t have to put much effort into getting fed at a restaurant little lone tipping 2 different people for what should be the same service.

Our server was amazing and the food was outstanding. The atmosphere was great and there was plenty of room between tables. Only down side to dining in is if you want drinks you have to purchase them separately from the Medina Brewing Bar.

Very good food. They just moved into a shared space with Medina Brewing – order food from the waitress, order beer from the bar.

My wife and I tried this place over the weekend recently. We both had brisket sandwiches. I can think of a small list of things to improve upon.

This place is a godsend to MBC customers that don’t want to bring their own dinner in and an all-around delicious hidden gem aside from that. Everything I have had has been delicious, and the servers and owner take pride in their product. I can’t speak for the people that are confused with the current layout. The entire building is an awesome mix of separate business all sharing one historic site. With that said, I’m sure anything that would be confusing to an unfamiliar customer will be sorted out in time as they are the newest addition to the facility. Highly recommended, and thank you to the owner for taking the time to get feedback on the meal if you’re reading this.

There was only one server for the entire dining area when we went today. She was FANTASTIC!!!! When we arrived, we were advised to sit anywhere we’d like. We found a table. Within minutes, she took our order. We only waited about 15 minutes to get our food. The food was fantastic! I suggest the Hoggy Doggy for anyone indecisive. We will certainly be back! 10/10 recommend.

We tried to go in last night for dinner, with my son, and out of town family, we walked into the basement and didn’t know it was part of Medina brewing company. There were no direct signs said we’re to go, nor we’re there any people to help. After walking around for a little, we found the takeout and everyone working looked at us like we were green with 3 eyes. Finally one man asked us if we had a takeout order- We asked were the restaurant was and he pointed us in the right direction. We stood in the doorway waiting to see what we should do, wait to be seated, seat ourselves- it was very unclear. Once again, I asked a server and she told us very snarky “if you can find a table”. This was at 6:30 in the evening, family dinner time. I have never felt more uncomfortable and unwelcome as I did last night. My son said he felt like he was in a western movie. “You’re not from these parts are ya”. I am completely turned off by the treatment we received. I was not able to try the food, but because of the unfriendly encounter we had I will not be returning. Thank you for making me feel even more unwelcome in Medina.

Amazing! So excited to enjoy Big Dog Daddy’s all year long now! Stopped at the new location last night with the kids and ordered my usual brisket tacos with mac and cheese- to die for! Love the vibe inside the Farmers’s Exchange Building! Can’t wait to come back!

Jamie was prompt greeting us after we took a seat and gave us the run down on specials. She even recommended some of the brews that Medina Brewing Company had on tap! I ordered the “Snake Bite Sandwich” and collard greens both came out hot and were full of flavor.
