Place has a very romantic atmosphere. Menu is pretty extensive for a small place. Food was not as good as I was expecting. Service is average. I tried the duck that was good but didnt impress me but overall is a great place for couples and special occasions.

Love the food, atmosphere, and staff. It is a very cozy yet elegant style dining. The dim lighting and smaller, homestyle furniture provide a very romantic setting. Bring your favorite wine and enjoy the delicious perfectly prepared food.

Quaint, Old World Charm. French cuisine dining experience. It’s as though time stands still.when you walk in through the front door.

It was a cute little place, a little hard to find at night we actually drove right past it. Has its own parking lot & an additional lot across the street. The food was ok, kind of boring, old school. Mixed vegetable side for example. I enjoy more of a French fusion unique menu. The atmosphere was cozy which I liked. The other diners were guests of the inn which it seems more suited to. We drove about an hour here bc we like to try different restaurants. Probably wouldn’t drive back, it was just ok food. Needs to print new menus.

Beautiful building and pleasant ambiance. The romance ends there however. The wait staff was very unprofessional and unrefined. They need some basic training in courtesy and customer service. Questions were answered abruptly and with sarcasm. Once we were seated, an eternity passed before our presence was acknowledged by a server.

This Inn has old world charm at every corner. The food is consistently good and not over the top with price. I love the mood and environment, a very romantic setting with tables nestled here and there. The patio room is a bit loud though, being enclosed in glass and the courtyard can be buggy, depending on season – still all worth it. It is BYOB, which makes it all that more appealing!

Charming, old country inn, serving a classic, French menu. Romantic (dimly lit) atmosphere, good food, and very attentive service. One of the reasons we went there was that it’s BYOB, and I had some aged wines I wanted to drink. But not having a chocolate option for dessert was disappointing, as I had brought a dessert wine specifically for that.

This was our second time visiting the Inn. They seated us promptly, were kind and courteous and had a nice selection on the menu. We were able to order something for everyone, though for our picky 8 year old that meant bread, salad and dessert. We were very happy and would dine again. One disappointment was the waiter seemed to forget we exists, forgetting to refill our water and generally just disappearing. Alas, a great, local experience less one star for the service oversight.

I’m not sure how this place doesn’t get 5 stars. I guess it’s not “for everybody” but it seems like such a gem to us. The place is quirky, cozy and arguably the coolest place to stay in the region.

My husband and I came for our 15th wedding anniversary and my husbands 50th birthday. We did mention this when making a reservation. The staff never said anything about it when we came. The chestnut soup was amazing, the leek salad was good. The entrees were honestly not that exciting, which was disappointing for a place that we’ve heard such good things about. Good cuts of meat but the veggies were boring, nothing innovative or special. Here is the real issue though…we had wine and the waiter took it away to open it, brought up our entree’s and we didn’t see him again. My husband had to go downstairs to retrieve the wine as our meals were cooling. My lamb chops and his steak were ordered medium. My husbands came Med rare, mine were rare. I could not stomach it and so my husband and I traded plates after the waiter never showed again. When we finally saw him we told him (we were done) and he laughed it off and, surprise never followed up. Really disappointed in this establishment. When you pay that much money you expect more.
