Yes, the food was great. The tandoori chicken was extremely good! The Goat Curry was good. I wish there was a little bit more meat. The Naan was fresh a delicious. My 2 complaints are there is no longer a buffet and that the rice was very lackluster. I know “rice is rice”, but I am used to better from other Indian restaurants. Staff were friendly and attentive.

Oh my GOD! This was the BEST Indian food I’ve had, ever. Absolutely the best Indian food in Richmond city, hands down. The people are so kind, the food is seasoned to perfection, the portions are filling and the prices are affordable comparatively to all the other places I’ve been to. I personally got the chicken curry with garlic naan and the vegetable samosas. My only issue was that my stomach wasn’t big enough to eat more.

Absolutely delicious food with really reasonable prices. We stopped by here for lunch and ordered the butter chicken and the chicken curry from the lunch special. The waitstaff was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and very helpful in answering questions. The service was fast and friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. We will for sure be back again!

First time trying Indian food, service was good but food wasn’t. the rice was cold and had little to no flavor. buttered chicken had too much tomato and cilantro which threw the flavor off majorly. also received very spicy food when asked for mild.

Took my daughter to try Indian food for the 1st time, they used to have a buffet here, which I thought would be a good way to introduce her, but unfortunately they no longer offer the buffet. It was about 1230 on a Sunday and we were the only people inside, we were greeted by a very jovial Indian man who warmly sat us at our table. A few minutes later our server and brought us some menus and asked us for our drinks. After going over the menu with my daughter we ordered a vegetarian sampler, a mild Lamb Vindaloo for my daughter and a medium Goat Curry for myself. When the food first came you wouldn’t have known we actually ordered two different dishes because they look exactly the same but you definitely could taste the difference in the medians. The serving size is a little deceiving because the bowl was actually fairly deep so you got a lot more then what you thought. As with Indian food it was very flavorful, both the lamb and goat were very tender and serve two different ways cut what are some pieces still having bone. We both enjoyed the sampler as well the only thing we didn’t think it had really any taste to was the fried cheese. The Naan was fantastic! The place was very clean and tidy, there was a small bar and my daughter was very excited they had a disco ball. Service was fairly fast and the food didn’t take very long either. It was nice, hot and fresh. Everything tasted really good. I definitely would come back and try something else.

Multiple levels of mismanagement. The amount of biriani, shown in circle, is very little for high price they charge. The chicken was not freshly cooked and we felt the cold inside but it was probably hastily microwaved, marked with arrow. The biriani was supposed to be mild and chicken was supposed to be spicy. Although the waitress reconfirmed it, the cook made the biriani double spicy but the chicken totally bland. We just returned the chicken and somehow finished the biriani since we were very hungry. We’ll never go to this place again. The waitress was very nice. The owner must consider auditing chef’s job in the kitchen.

This used to be my favorite Indian joint but no more. The last couple of times I visited, I found the food to be Americanized, without much flavor. Indian food is supossed to to have some spice and flavor. Also the only meat option was chicken, sadly no more lamb dishes to be seen on the buffet. I guess these are cost cutting measures, but the qualuty has suffered.

The food was tasty as usual. It’s been a long time since I was there (pre-pandemic), so it was a treat. They’ve made some changes in ordering and used a digital system that takes some getting used to. I did wish that I had ordered the combination of sauces though, because I kept thinking ooh what if I had some of that onion, what if I had put the mint on this…….

We went for the first time and took the kids (2 and 3) and got an assortment of entrees to share. Everything was outstanding and the picky toddlers loved it. Will definitely be back.
