Service was good after the wait for 20 minutes in the front to be seated. Common IHOP…you need to hire more wetresses..simple and cooks 2. The food will not cook itself.

My wife and I went in around 12:30am after coming back from the rodeo, and there was about a 25 minute wait (we were told an hour). I spoke with the night shift manager and he told me that like 90% of their business is to-go orders so for eating in, there can be a bit of a wait even when the restaurant is relatively empty.

The server name Amal has excellent service! Always check on our table to see if we need anything. She’s very attentive that even I didn’t mention to have a water without ice for my little one, she brought the water without ice. Small action impress me and brought my attention that she is working with her heart. Will definitely come back next time.

When my pregnant wife and I got there we had to wait much longer than normal to finally be noticed by someone to seat us. Once they led us to our booth, the server for that section said all of his tables were dirty, when they weren’t and made us sit elsewhere. Ok, no big deal just odd. When we finally got seated we placed our order and got the food quickly and without any mistakes. When I opened my cutlery I noticed it was dirty and asked for a clean set. This apparently annoyed the waiter as he did a poor job of hiding his irritation. When he returned with clean cutlery he made a comment about hard water being the reason. He then proceeded to talk about how bad Houston’s water is and mentioned it still having traces of birth control in the water. I have no idea if this is true but I asked him why he thought this was appropriate to discuss over our meal. The whole situation upset my wife to the point that we had to leave. The manager handled the situation well but I don’t understand why it happened in the first place. The meal was a craving for her and all she wanted was a nice meal that she didn’t get.

Worst ihop ever…. When we sat down at the table it was dirty I asked could she wipe off the table she brought me back napkins to wipe it off myself. Then we didn’t have utensils when our food came out we had to wait for the waiter to come back and it took a while. When my food came out I was super disappointed it looked like a child’s plate I asked if they would give me some more eggs and hash-browns and they charged me for it. I will never go back again.

If I could give them zero stars I would. I understand service is slow but there were customers that arrived after us that received their food before us. We waited at the table for over an hour (not including the 15 minutes we waited to be seated). We paid the check in advance because we knew service was slow and we’re on our way to the airport. Needless to say after an hour we never received our food and asked for a refund. We left upset, hungry and waiting 3-5 business days for a $70+ refund. They should be ashamed. The server had no clue where our food was and kept telling us wrong information. We will NEVER eat at this IHOP again. International House of Poppycock is what it should be called!!!

This is exclusively for the waitress who helped me. Well-mannered and really did a great job despite the atmosphere, which was largely due to an untrained staff. Thankfully, the plates, forks, and spoons were clean, and the food was great. I tipped the waitress a fat 25% to encourage the good work

This IHOP location is absolutely mismanaged. From getting seated to getting the check, it was all a disaster. Firstly, there was an extensive waiting line when we arrived with empty tables everywhere but no one to seat us. Many people in line ended up leaving. When we finally got a table, it was dirty with no utensils or sugar. We had to ask different waiters for utensils and they would keep forgetting. We eventually had to get up and get the utensils ourselves. When we got the utensils, they were dirty with food on it. We then had to chase someone down for plastic utensils. The wait to get our coffee and food was ridiculous. They forgot to bring some of the sides and we had to ask for them multiple times…I had to get up from my seat to grab the waiter and then someone finally brought out the sides when we were done with the meal. The manager was no where in sight the entire time…the staff was running around lost and confused. People were literally begging for their checks after waiting an eternity for it. Management and corporate really need to take a look into this location and do a thorough audit. Their business and reputation is taking a hit. Service was terrible, food was terrible and cold, restaurant was unclean…the most unpleasant experience I’ve had at any restaurant thus far.
