Sylvester our waiter was very courteous to our needs. He had a polite smile and brought our order out hot,fresh and correct with gratitude. The location was clean and the store manager was a pleasant encounter. She had great hospitality with a welcoming spirit. It really felt like being on the presence of family. I ordered the smoke house combo with a coffee. It was so good.

We stopped in after picking up some family from the airport, about 3:00 a.m. We were seated right away and had beverages pretty quickly. We placed our orders when the drinks came but had a wait for the food. Once it arrived, it was disappointing. The omelet looked great but was not very tasty. The crepes were dry and the edges crispy. The pancakes (2 different kinds were ordered) were also dry. Service was good on refills and taking care of us but the food was just not up to standards.

I usually have a great experience with this location, but was very disappointed today because my chicken strips were extremely burnt. Very overcooked. I ordered the chicken and pancakes and had it delivered to me. Even when I tried to go ahead and eat it, I could taste how burnt they were. Won’t be ordering from here for a while. I’d rather someone take the time to ensure my food is cooked correctly than trying to rush the order out of the kitchen.

Now, I am only giving this one time experience one star because all other times were great. If you choose to take it upon yourself to change the standardized process of an operation, first think of the consumer. Maybe that change was a reason for the customer returning to your establishment.

I use to be an IHOP fan until today. Today I took my grand babies there for breakfast to spend time with them before school started and I was praying for it to be a wonderful blessed time, but to my dismay it started out with us being sit in the corner which we didn’t mind but after about 13 minutes no one came to even take a drink order, but everyone around us was being serviced even those who walked in after us. I am a patient person but don’t take my patience for granted, after all we weren’t looking for any special treatment, just to be treated fairly. After 13 minutes I got up to say something and to ask for the manager. Finally a young lady came who saw my disappointment and brought the manager, which did not help me any, the young lady who finally waited on us, (we were not in her area), I commend her for her kindness and I thank her, but Iwe will not be going back. The most important thing to me was that my grandbabies felt that we were not being treated fairly nor respectfully and I agree. So we will take our business elsewhere. I am not angry but I will not accept that from anyone and I will do what makes me feel like my business is just as important as anyone elses after all we weren’t asking for charity. we were paying for our meals. The person who was supposed to be our waiter/waitress never came to apologize. This matter was not handled properly. Bless you all.

My daughter and I pickup takeout, and last night, she opted for this ihop. Her food was awesome, mine was lackluster. I left a comment on the “contact us” section of the app and the manager, Robert, called me this morning. She wanted more of their chicken tenders (the bbq ones are awesome!), and when we went to pickup, Robert brought out her order. I was taken aback a bit… his eyes are the kindest blue eyes I’ve seen in a very long time. My daughter noticed, also, and after he walked back in… she remarked about it. There’s more, but I won’t get into that here… but I’ll be going back, as long as he’s there.
