Unsure if this is the same owners but visited the location on 431 that is the old Popeyes. Honestly, the worst food I have ever eaten, and would not even give it to my dog. The chicken was overcooked and from frozen, mushy rice, zero flavor. Absolute slop. To add to the experience, everyone I dined with felt very ill the next day. We will absolutely never return to Ichiban – ever.

I tried to call in a takeout order for 30 minutes and the phone continued to be busy. So I went to the restaurant to place the order in person. Upon arriving, I notice phone is off hook and laying on the counter. I ask if I can place a takeout order and was notified that they weren’t taking any orders. Keep in mind this was 3hrs before closing time. I questioned if that’s why the phone was off the hook and the young lady at the counter rolled her eyes and had some rude remarks. I asked to speak with her manager and the same level of maturity was displayed. This was not the first time experiencing rude service at Ichiban but definitely the worst yet. As a long time customer, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I hate that they throw their phone off for an hour at a time when they have taken what they consider enough to go orders. There is no way to know when they’ve thrown it off and when is best to try back. I have never known of any other restaurant doing this.

Food was ok but the restaurant is dirty. The entrance way is partially blocked by stacked up boxes. The front door was incredibly filthy.

I usually go for sushi because it’s decently priced and comes out nice but their beef noodles are also good. The crab meat is imitation so don’t expect real crab unless you order the soft shell crab. They have online ordering which I would recommend if you are picking up because it takes a bit to make the food, they also have a drive through on the side if you are in a rush, just make sure to order about 10 minutes ahead.
