Ian was our waiter and knocked it out of the park. We were seated quickly and our drinks were out super quick. My son wanted crawfish and he made it happen, even though they only had a half order left.

It was years since our last visit. The food that night so bad we vowed not to return. About a month ago, we got a flyer in the mail, and we decided to try again.

The drinks were really good. Gator bites were great too. However, I ordered the Catch of Day (Cobia) came with rice and veggies for $24.95. I was disappointed in the portion and literally less than a 1/4 cup of rice and a small sliver of fish. Everyone else in my party got large portions of rice and pieces of fish.

As locals who have been going here for years, we find it absurd that the outdoor bar has Kat running inside every 5 minutes to ring up our drinks. Kat is one of the main reasons we enjoy sitting at the bar. She’s fun, entertaining and just plain likable. By having her running in and out so often really takes away from the laid back vibe we used to enjoy.

It was our first time to St Augustine and we wanted the true experience of eating seafood where the locals would eat. The restaurant is located near the harbor. If you want the smell of the sea and the view of sunset. This is the place. Don’t expect high end furnishing or fancy clothing. This place is perfect for a long day on the beach and you just want to grab some good seafood. Get the seafood boil! Large enough for the 3 of us. Fresh oysters is a must as well. Great service with great atmosphere. The drinks were delicious. We were so full and didn’t have room for dessert. Highly recommend Hurricane Patty if you want great seafood in St Augustine.

Came here the other day for a late lunch/early dinner. We had spontaneously gone to St. Augustine the other day and I wanted some good seafood that wasn’t fried. I reserved a table but when I got there, it wasn’t super busy, so that sat us quickly. We were next to a huge window with a small view of the river. I ordered water and a fruity cocktail. My friend got coke and their sugar cookie alcoholic drink. My daughter had Sprite. I ordered the shrimp seafood boil. My friend had a burger with coke. My daughter had the kids shrimp and fries. Everything tasted great. I was too full to finish my boil. My daughter acted up a little bit so my friend and I got distracted dealing with her. We ended up leaving my purse and my daughter’s jacket there. I’m so glad they found it and held it for us to be able to come back and get it.

Came for a quick lunch and some drinks at the end of a long day of driving before heading to our hotel. Tucked off the beaten path, I’m glad I had looked up spots on the water because we would’ve missed it.

Clam chowder was cold and had no flavor. Also looked like it was microwaved. Gator bites tasted good up until my stomach started hurting. The gator bites also indeed looked like they were microwaved. Ahi tuna taco was atrocious. I had to force myself to eat it and still left the taco. It was extremely dry. Ordered the shrimp broil in hopes that it would redeem my lunch. Unfortunately, the shrimp was definitely not locally caught because it looked store bought. Shrimp had no flavor and was about as small as something you see at Walmart. The rest of the food in the shrimp broil was just dry and subpar. Very disappointed.
