Love Edibles!! They always had great appetizers and a friendly mom-and-pop atmosphere and now after the Restaurant Impossible makeover they have great entrees as well under the new brand Hurley’s American Grille. The family restaurant and bar are split but the menus are the same. Everyone I have been with loves the new dishes and all the fried appetizers are still great. Get the bbq chicken with corn on the cob for a delicious and classy high-brow meal for a decent price.

Hurley’s is definitely a step above its former life as Edibles, having been transformed on Restaurant: Impossible. Four of us ate there yesterday for lunch and all enjoyed our meals (BLT, hamburger, taylor ham, pulled pork). My pulled pork for $8 was a huge portion: big sandwich, good BBQ sauce on it, REALLY fresh bun. Seasoned fries were very good as well. Only issue was a 30 minute wait for lunch when they were not very busy.

I was never here during their heyday as Edibles (the marquis sign is still there); but I have to say this was a great find. My family and I went in hopes of finding a new eating spot and I think that we found it. My sons had a pizza with onions and the Philly which is their version of a cheese steak; my wife and I both had the BBQ burger which is topped with coleslaw and pulled pork. I know it sounded weird to me too but it was damn good. The fries were also great, my wife thought they were a bit too salty but I thought they were great. This was a great food find and there were some minor things that I could nit pick on but I won’t. This was an overall great lunch experience. This place definitely earned a spot on our list of places to grub.

If you are in a hurry or have plans this is not the place to go. The food is decent but it takes forever to get it. People were ready to leave without getting their food and some got theirs packed up to go. The cheese steak roll appetizer is good, portobello lasagna has way too much gravy/sauce but the pulled pork is good. Unfortunately the food is not good enough to sit and wait for especially considering I was freezing from the fan blowing on me.
