Truly a restaurant that is worth every star. I went for my birthday. When I went in it was an experience like no other. It is worth every penny. The services were great the Food was great. The atmosphere was great as well as the privacy at each table was great. If you are looking for a place to take someone special then please try Houston’s. My daughter as a toddler enjoyed the spinach artichoke dip and chips. The steaks are delicious and perfectly made along with the sides.

A restaurant worthy of 5 stars. Sophia was are waitress, who did an excellent service with a smile. I had the Ruby Red Trout and it was excellent. All the foods that were tried was not a disappointment. The artichoke dip is the best I have ever tasted in any restaurant. A must have for your appetizer. You may want to order another one for take home as well. The service and the food was superb.

It’s been over 20 years since our last visit and it was worth ever minute and every penny spent. Last visit was with my brother who passed in 2011 so it was bittersweet. Not sure why we hadn’t been but more than likely not wanting to deal with the emotions (good and bad). However, Max our server, Alex the GM and the entire team we encountered made our lunch exciting and memorable. The chili was a delicious (didn’t take a picture) starter. Then I had the trout with dirty rice and my better half the chicken salad both were exceptionally delicious! Old fashions and cosmopolitans complemented our meal nicely. Definitely a must stop next time we’re in Memphis!

This is the perfect restaurant for a little romantic situation. We shared spinach dip which was served with salsa and sour cream. I ordered trout and my date had salmon. Both dishes were tasty .but. the trout won!

Haven’t been to a Houston’s in years. Spinach and artichoke dip was excellent as well as my rare prime rib sandwich. Food hasn’t changed but the prices have sure gone up! But I’d rather pay a higher price for delicious food than the alternative.

Perfect for a date night or just a night out with family or friends! Service was top tier! As a first-timer, I asked several servers about their favorite dish and there were mixed reviews. I went with the all timer favorite spinach dip and the prime rib. The spinach dip was just like any other restaurant to me. The prime rib was cooked to perfection…very moist and seasoned well! The lemon drops were delicious and a hit!

Great place to eat. The food is delicious. I ordered a veggie burger during my most recent visit. It came out looking good but it didn’t taste good. I’ve eaten at different locations from Atlanta to Memphis and this was the first time I didn’t enjoy my meal. The apple walnut cobbler is to die for.

So, first off, I miss the flying chicken. So, this is a very nice restaurant. They prefer you not use your cellphone while dining. (I used mine for pics ). We got the salad, I chose the buttermilk garlic and the hot bacon as my dressings. I also got a side of cheese toast to go with my salad. For our entree, we got the ribs and double side of fries. So, the salad was the standout of the meal and it was very filling. The cheese toast was “meh”. The ribs came “wet”, but they were somehow dry inside. I wouldn’t recommend. If I go back, I’d probably just order the salad. The service was quite a bit lacking as well. We waited forever for the salads to come out and our drinks remained empty on two different occasions. Overall, I wasn’t impressed and wouldn’t recommend based on what we ordered and the service.

If zero stars were and option I would. Absolutely rude. We went in (a party of 7) at 2:30 pm. It was not crowded. The group of 4 we were with had went in before us and was going to be seated immediately. They realized there was more in our party as soon as we walked in and stated they could not accommodate 7. So after back and forth about we will sit at separate tables, which they still couldn’t do, the manager said “we can seat half an at 3:15 and the other half of our party at 3:45!”

Excellent spot for business meals. Attentive and friendly service. Plenty of food options and many salads at lunch that they will work with you to customize. The vibe is classic and upscale. Folks dress up. Servers smile and interact. It’s a great experience.
