The first Hooters opened October 4, 1983, in Clearwater, Florida. The Original Six founders were quickly detained for impersonating restaurateurs, but fortunately for America, they were soon allowed to go about their business. During its history, the Hooters concept has remained true to its roots. The current logo, uniform, menu and ambiance are all very similar to what existed in the original store. This consistency is understandable given Hooters continued success and high ranking amongst the industry’s growth leaders.

I hadn’t been to a Hooters in well over 2 decades and I did not want to come here this time either. As all of the breakfast spots in and around the Tropicana had very long waits, this was a selection out of necessity. While I did not expect to be eating wings and the like for breakfast the food was delicious. The tater tots were hot and crispy and the Caesar salad I ordered to make myself feel healthy was surprisingly really good. Service was on-point and we were in and out and fat and happy!!

Its been awhile since I’ve been to hooters, but they did not disappoint. Boneless wings and Buffalo shrimp were a perfect quick lunch out of the heat on the boardwalk. Loaded tots were a pleasant surprise! Kisses at the end were a perfect treat! (Not what you think!!)

Excellent as always! Wings were crispy and delicious. Pickles were not overdone this time. Staff was quick and friendly. Just note that this hooters is much more expensive compared to other ones, probably because it’s in Atlantic city. Highly recommended though. Will return anytime I go to AC.

I wouldn’t recommend this Hooters at all. Every time I go there, ONLY because it is convenient to go down the stairs and get a quick to-go order, and I ALWAYS end up regretting it. The waitresses are always rude. The waitresses are just standing around sizing you up. You have to say something to them to get some type of service. At that point, it’s like you’re begging them to spend your money there. Maybe that should be my first red flag for unfortunately returning there. The food has NO FLAVOR at all, whether it’s mild or hot sauce; it all tastes the same: oily and bland. From the burgers to the chicken sandwich, even the Philly cheese steak has NO taste. And please let’s not talk about the sad portion sizes. I WOULDNT RECOMMEND AT ALL NOT EVEN IF YOU WERE SURVIVING. 0 OUT OF 5 STARS

The wings here are fantastic. Always hot and fresh when they come out. Been here multiple times and never a complaint. Traditional bone in and medium Buffalo sauce. Don’t bother with the ranch or blue cheese but get the celery on the side.

Where do I begin? The place was filthy. Our waitress tried to sit us at a table that hadn’t even been wiped and had gross stuff on it. We actually had to request it be cleaned. Nobody even came by to clean off the food from the 2 tables next to ours. The staff all appeared miserable and no one smiled. I ordered wings and they were all breading, very little actual chicken. The only good part was the fact the girls were hot.
