First time eating at this establishment. The “Big” Ribeye and grilled shrimp were cooked to perfection, absolutely delicious, enormous portions for the price. The bartender/server, John, was manning the house alone for most of our dinner but treated each customer as though they were the only one. Thanks for a great dining experience !

The food was okay but overpriced. There were so many flies that it was really bad.

Disappointed that the food I wanted was discontinued. It should be renamed to fit the food it serves—Asian.

Save your money and go to McDonald’s! WAYYY OVER PRICED!! The $29 dollar steak plus $10 for a handful of grilled shrimp was so over done it was dry. Fry were over cooked and steak frys undercooked (very mushy). Salad consisted of lettuce shreds, diced tomatoes and black olives. The prime rib sandwich had no seasoning to it and very bland with a poor after taste. $84 later I should have gotten my sons $7 Mac n cheese.

As an out of tower, was treated to a dinner at Homesteader. I was very impressed, not from the outside, but by what was inside. From just inside, the floor, the immaculate table settings & everything that I saw, was just right. We were early dinners so no patrons yet. There is a front dinning room separated by a wall, from the second dinning room & lounge with bar. Nice menu, excellent service & the food was very good. I highly recommend.

For twenty-nine bucks I’d expect a killer prime rib. It was okay. Au-jus was from a packet, no beef flavor. One waitress ran everywhere she went. One drink refill. Of fountain pop! They clearly are about profit and unfortunately the food is second.

We were passing through and really wanted a healthy meal with vegetables, so came to Homesteader 2. The prices were ridiculous. A chicken strip dinner was around $24. The three of us finally opted for the salad bar, which was $13. I expected a decent salad bar for this price, but this is what it consisted of: iceberg lettuce, 4 salad dressings, cucumbers, carrots, celery, boiled eggs (seemed fresh, but tasted off, so couldn’t eat them), cottage cheese, 2 pasta salads, and canned chocolate pudding. We should have left and gone somewhere else, but there wasn’t a lot to choose from. The only reason I gave the restaurant two stars is because it was at least clean—although, it’s pretty easy to keep a place clean when there aren’t any customers…
