An awesome American restaurant in downtown Red Wing that exceeded expectations. Staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was lively, clean, modern, and inviting. I highly recommend the cheese dice as an appetizer. We left feeling very full and happy.

Great mix of decor and design make this place feel like a sports bar on one hand and also at the same time a trendy upscale place to go to after the Sheldon theater. It’s menu follows the same feel. You can get a smash burger or a dressed up hotdog. On the flip side you can get oysters or grilled flank steak. All food you can tell is freshly prepared right there. The ballpark burger and the salmon burger with the rosemary fries are great choices, followed by their homemade carrot cake. Food is amazing! Will be going back to try many more appetizers and entrees. Highly recommend if you are in Red Wing, MN!

Was in town for a conference and this was the closest open restaurant to my hotel. Had a modern atmosphere with pool table area and bar. I chose to sit outside as it was a nice evening. Server was friendly and prompt, and was always checking up on me. I tried the duck wontons, cheese dice and wings with the dry rub appetizers. All three of these were good and full of flavor. For my main course I have the bahn mi on bahn mi. This was an amazing burger with a good bahn mi flavor, really hit the spot. Prices were reasonable. Would recommend for a casual date or a night out with friends or family.

Having enjoyed a lovely meal with great service in the dining room on our 1st trip here we decided to swing back in to check out the bar for a nightcap. We had a great time! Drinks were good and the music was a bonus! Our bartender Travis was great and we had a good time chatting with him. Will definitely be back.

We have been here a few times now and have enjoyed our visit every time. The menu has recently expanded and dessert items have been added. This is the only place we’ve found around town that offers pool tables! We always get the burger (they’re like butter burgers) with bacon jam, rosemary fries and a side salad with bleu cheese & shrimp. The chocolate cake is also on point – not too sweet while plenty rich. The staff has been great! Looking forward to see what opportunities the future holds for this place!

Tony, the server/ bartender, completely took care of me. I loved the chicken sandwich he recommended. Healthy and fried is the perfect combo for me, so fresh and perfect fries too 🙂 Thanks!

My daughter’s family and I went to Home Plate Grill & the Dugout Lounge on Mother’s Day (2023). We were immediately seated and in about 15 minutes the waitress came and took our beverage order. It took another 20 or so minutes to get our drinks (soda) and my daughter and her husband didn’t get their Bloody Mary’s for another 30 minutes. My granddaughter ordered Ginger Ale and got Tonic Water. The bartender insisted it was Ginger Ale until the waitress repeatedly indicated to him that it wasn’t Ginger Ale. It turns out that the Ginger Ale tap was empty and that Tonic Water replaces it when the tap is empty. Imagine being 5 years old and being served Tonic Water, and waiting 30+ minutes for an exchange of drinks.
