Wife and I ate there for the first time. Walked into the cafe; the atmosphere felt like that small town, friendly, everyone knows one another, comfortable feeling. Sadie, our waitress made us feel like we know one another. I noticed that they were short handed. Her and one other waitress were the only ones waiting on tables and they were busy. Those two took care of the dining area, while the back workers were hard at work. Our breakfast came and I couldn’t believe what I saw. Plate had 4 big slices of bacon, with large order of eggs, and grits to die for. Sadie made sure our cup of coffees were full at all time as we were eating. Couldn’t ask for a better breakfast and service. Great place to relax and enjoy a great food.

We came by here to have a regular breakfast instead of hotel food. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The food was top notch. Looks like they have a bunch of local people dine there regularly. If we ever get to make it back to Kerrville I know where we will have breakfast.

Restaurant is quaint, home style, relatively small, yet large enough to hold a decent size amount of customers. It is only open 6am to 2pm for breakfast and lunch. The food is very delicious and plentiful. Wait staff is very friendly, personable and attentive. Restaurant is very clean and decor is home style. Great place for a good meal in downtown Kerrville.

It was good. Small cafe style breakfast. Been around since the 1940s. Food was good but no big deal. Basic menu. My kids enjoyed the pancakes being Mickey mouse shaped. Was very busy but they got our family of 5 seated quickly. They prefer cash but we didn’t know until we were there so we paid with card. A great place to eat if you want a quick basic breakfast.

The food is good but pricey (ten dollars for two pancakes) and not extraordinary. Service is fine. Old town cafe experience

Great home style breakfast, everything from the biscuits and gravy, the hot fresh breakfast taco with thier house made salsa hit the spot. Service was very good with staff, even though they were busy as heck. The pinnacle was the fresh cinnamon roll, that was the cherry on top.
