This place has great food, but placing an order is a headache! Most of the times when I call to place an order I am placed on hold and then the phone is hung up. Have to call back several times to even get an order placed. They should really consider hiring someone to do to-go orders if it’s so busy that they can’t take the phone orders properly.

Thursday at 6 pm…maybe a total of 9 guests in entire restaurant. Stopped in to treat younger cousin (age 11). The chef was in such a hurry that he “slung” hot rice and soy sauce on his arm while plating leaving a blister! I have eaten at many hibachi restaurants and NEVER had this happen! Couldn’t imagine if my cousin had been much younger or even a baby!!!! I tried posting a picture of the blister but would not let me share photo.

PLEASE DO NOT ORDER HERE IF YOU ARE FROM OUT OF TOWN!!! We are from out of town and found the restaurant on Apple Maps as a nearby restaurant. I called the number from the app. We spent over a $100 for food in my opinion is over priced but hey. Called and the lady answering the phone didn’t know much and was asking somebody else about the questions I was having. Long story short we do not eat shrimps and the meal came with them. Not on the side as an appetizer should but right in the middle of the food. Now mind you I’ve never looked at the menu and just called in. I called back that night to address my issues but no answering. I came to the restaurant the next day and the “manager” on duty supposedly called the “owner” who was there last night and they did absolutely nothing!!! Now I was trying to necessary get my money back another meal without shrimps would’ve did the job. The “manager” was simply the host said that we’ll the girls have some many orders that they don’t know who is out of town as if that mattered. When the lady read my order back she could’ve simply said shrimps come in as an appetizer. I spent a lot of money just to put the order in the garbage. Lesson learned!!! We had two different orders for two families they didn’t order shrimps bc of us.

We had two grills. The older man, whom I assumed would have more experience, serving at the other grill could not get his lighter to work so he threw it across the room and said “I guess no fire today”. I thought it was a joke. I thought surely he would get another lighter. Especially when the other chef came to the station with his working lighter. But no. And the fire is the main attraction of hibachi! Our chef was fine. Food was good. We had a big flash of flame but no onion volcano or anything like that.

My husband took me, our best friends here for Valentines Day. In all, there were 5. We had reservations. Will never go back. We were so rushed.. didn’t ask if we wanted deserts and did not give us any sauces. Did not refill our water.. couldn’t finish my wine before they started throwing take home boxes at us. When the chef finished his “performance “. We did not even have time to eat. The salads were a joke. They literally threw the checks at us and before my friend even had a chance to get out her wallet, the lady walked over and told us to pay at the front counter. Very rude. Besides all that, the food had no flavor.
