Interesting burritos, although they certainly don’t claim to be authentic Mexican cuisine. Creative names and concepts. Good beer list and a decent number of taps for a relatively small outfit. They can get pretty busy on weekends so don’t plan to waltz in with a group larger than four and get a place to sit. Also, there’s a nice warm wood stove in the seating area near the entrance which could be a hazard to small kids (they have a warning sign on the front door). Good value though, and a cozy warm place for dinner after a day on the slopes.

We were choosing between two spots during a quick 2 day trip and decided to try Hellbender Burritos… they do not disappoint. Good selection of craft beers and the burritos are filling and so good! We came as a pretty big group and they got us all seated together. Everyone left super happy. Thank you!

Great place with nice selection of ‘make your own’ and house specials. Beer avaliable, too! Not many tables -only 5- so it gets crowded but if you are patient you will find a seat. Fun decor, very cool staff, reasonable prices. Quality ingredients from how everything tasted, wish I had room in my belly to try more things. One star off because the one burrito we got was dripping in soy sauce, way too salty. I know that soy sauce was used as the marinade but it was overkill. Need to dial that back. Otherwise I definitely recommend this spot and do hope to visit again!

The burritos were pretty solid with a wide variety. I wouldn’t call them excellent, but definitely very enjoyable for lunch. Nice beer selection as well. May be hard to get a spot to sit inside because seating is limited.

Best. Burrito. And. Taco. Ever. I wish I could leave the review at that, but I have to tell you … The staff was amazing. The service was fast. The prices are good. The portions are plenty. You get a heaping helping for your money. Amazing burritos & tacos in the middle of nowhere WV? Hell yeah! If you don’t stop & try these now, you’re missing out. If you can’t find a close parking spot, that’s okay. Walk a ways. It’s worth every step.
