We are in town for a brief business trip and found this place looking for a quick place to grab food. The physical restaurant was closed for seating. However, they have an ordering window and we were able to place an order to go. The wait time was 15-20min. Everything was delicious! We had two fried chicken orders; with side options of yams, collard greens, green beans and mac & cheese. The servings were generous. We could have honestly shared an order but I didn’t want to 😉 A must try for home cooked soul food!!

If you ever want the best tasting Soul Food from Norristown please go to Mrs. Cynthia’s Home made southern style soul food is the absolute best I had ever. The fish was fried to perfection along with her delicious Mac and Cheese and her collard greens was amazing and so was her sweet yams also the gentleman that took my order and the 2 respectful young ladies who made sure my order was hot and ready. I got take out, I ordered online, the wait time was about 20 mins longer than expected but it was worth wait! I got the southern fried chicken platter with the mac and greens. Everything was delicious, you can tell it was made to order and the greens was so fresh. I’m so happy I found a spot less than 10 mins from my house. Will be back!!

I ordered last week after craving some soul food. Everything was delicious. I had the fish platter and my fiancee had the chicken platter. Nothing needed extra seasoning or sauce. I also got a side of sweet potatoes and it was like I was eating the filling of a sweet potato pie. I will definitely be going back.

If you’re looking for a GREAT place for soul food, this is the place for you!! Had the fried fish, Mac and cheese and potato salad today. Everything was amazing!!!!!! The portions are generous and the price is very fair! Honestly can’t wait to go again!!

I ordered the smothered pork chops with Mac and cheese, and string beans. The food was absolutely delicious- very flavorful and fresh. Although the food was good, I’m more pleased with the customer service. Everyone was extremely friendly, and helpful. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more food.
