We had dinner here on New Year’s Eve and it was great. The prices are reasonable, and the food was delicious. I had the 8 oz. sirloin Farmhouse Steak and it was tender and flavorful. I loved the herbed butter they topped the steak with. One warning, if you are in a hurry, go to a fast food joint. This place is cooked to order, so your food may take a little longer to be served, but it is worth the wait.

Breakfast for two was very good. We were waited on in a timely manner. Food was good and our coffee cups refilled often by a nice wait staff. We are very happy that Eldon has a very clean and friendly atmosphere. The restaurant is spotlessly clean and that tells me the kitchen is spotless as well. We will return soon to sample dinner. Thanks so much for an enjoyable breakfast.

We just got a “to go” order after never having eaten there, My Husband got a ribeye, I got the BLT burger. My husband’s was good except they forgot his salad, but I blame him for not checking, but he said there was literally nobody there, so really no excuse to forget it. Also, his steak was pretty charred on one side, kinda crispy, but was done to the wellness we gave. I tasted and liked it. My BLT burger was really good, have no complaints, but the only thing I would change is that I would’ve preferred the steak fries a little more done, and a little crispy. Kinda soggy, but I still liked. My reason mainly for 3 stars is they forgot his salad, and overcooked one side although still was a medium done steak. I have noticed nobody in their parking lot recently, so I wanted to try and I have seen it was mostly due to service there so I can’t give an opinion since it was a “to go” order. If they listen to reviews, I think they could succeed in their business.

Decided to stop in and check it out today for my birthday. I had the T-bone and it was superb. My wife had the ribeye steak and it was perfectly delicious. Good sized portions have you leaving full. The owner is the mother of the Miller County Sheriff’s Deputy killed last year. She is honoring his wishes by opening the restaurant, and she has a beautiful memorial for her son. Well done. We will be back again.

I ordered the lemonade and it was diluted drink mix at best. I ordered the steak tips medium rare and they were about the size of a nickle and tough drowned in a sweet marinade and I had to ask for my mushroom and onions. The potatoes were not real and the gravy was thicker than wallpaper paste. The server started out friendly then disappeared never asking if the food was ok. I changed my drink but never got a new straw. Now all this would be understandable if we weren’t the only table in the restaurant. Sadly first impressions make up most people’s mind and I can say I likely would not go back.

Horrible experience! My son ordered a steak (medium) & cottage cheese – “steak” was actually a chopped steak & well done, his cottage cheese warm. My chicken strips weren’t cooked all the way. My parents ordered their special – some type of hamburger – when they came out they were two different sizes, very noticeable. The cook came out sweating & sitting with a customer. The owner started killing flies literally right behind us while our table was eating. That’s when I had it & we left. Truly lucky that we paid.

Clean, meals came out quickly, polite wait staff. All sides except cottage cheese are high carb, no green veggies as an option. Also, mac and cheese was just boxed mac and cheese. If someone is going there for a steak and paying the price for a steak the sides need to be homemade not out of a box! Very disappointed in that. Will not go again unless for a burger.

I met the owner at the Eldon Police Donut run. I was back in town today and hubby and I stopped by for an early dinner. I had the pan fried Grouper with honey sauce and he had a steak. I highly recommend the Grouper, it was DELICIOUS (I had to keep hubby from trying to steal it all). Hubby enjoyed his meal even though the steak was a little over done for his liking. The gentleman who took care of us was awesome, friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. If you are ever in Eldon, we DEFINITELY recommend Heifers!!!

The half pound Angus hamburgers were the best we’ve ever had. My husband’s was with egg, bacon and cheese on Texas toast and mine was with sauteed onions and mushrooms with cheese on brioche bun. Their steak fries are pretty good too. Yum!

The atmosphere was very cute. When we got there and got sat down there were only a handful of tables but yet not a single waitress acknowledged us for at least 15 minutes. Our food was not exactly as what we ordered off the menu (which didnt taste the best), drinks were not refilled. I do not think I will be back.
