My family was looking for a private room to hold a Celebration of Life event for a loved one and after talking with the manager Peter for about 30 minutes we decided to rent out their private dining room for the event. The food was amazing and the service was perfect. Our server Mike was just awesome and handled the entire event very well. We spoke with our guests and not one of them had a bad thing to say and a lot of them commented on how great Mike was, very attentive and friendly. He was extremely professional and helped keep the mood up and the energy high. We had checked out other places including hotels on the beach with scenic views, but we are so glad we chose Harold Seltzer’s because it was just a flawless experience and we were able to focus on being with family in a comfortable setting. Next time we need to have any kind of event, Peter and Mike are our first choice.

It wasn’t a bad place to go. My tenderloin steak was tender but did lack some flavor. Husband said his prime rib was very good! The place itself is very old school supper club. Very dark inside. Seats were really comfy but there were some things that were very worn. We would be back. Our waitress was nice but our bill was wrong.

I guess the best way I could explain this Restaurant is That the food was just OK …. We ordered 5 appetizers and a New York strip steak We had mozzarella sticks & they were just ok Next where the fried mushrooms Nice and size but the Taste was Just OK ..We also had the wild Onion rose and for some reason the Center of it was not cooked all the way So I think this was the biggest disappointment. & we had the French onion soup that was probably the best tasting Item we had. We also have the Ahi tuna salad And a side salad. And last was the New York strip steak. Which was OK I am not putting this steakhouse down but if you’re inspecting something like outback you will be A little. disappointed

Best experience at a restaurant! The owner greeted me, and my girlfriend, Harold, was very polite. They have a slip were you enter your information, and 3 times a year, you receive a few free items on the house. For an anniversary, you get a free bottle of wine. Amazing restaurant the atmosphere is so relaxing. I used to love texas Roadhouse, but Harold’s steakhouse showed me a new level of class.

Great steak house. My hubby and I had the prime rib and it was delicious, hubby had the garlic smashed potatoes which he enjoyed and I had the loaded baked potato which was very good. My mom had the BBQ ribs and they were fall-off the bone delicious!

Overall great experience tonight. Our server Rina was prompt and friendly; she greeted us as soon as we sat down. For appetizer we ordered the calamari which was fried to a crispy perfection, along with the Potato skins without bacon. Both apps came out in a timely manner and were quite tasty. I got a ribeye which was cooked perfectly; potato was fresh and fluffy. The lobster tail add on had a crust on it that I didn’t care for, the server removed it from the check. Overall great experience

Amazing time – had by all! Steaks were perfectly cooked to order! Lobster was fresh and tender. Chicken juicy and ribs were fall off the bone! Our waitress Autumn was awesome and fun! And we even got to meet Harold himself. Definitely be back!

My first time visiting Harold Seltzer’s in St Pete – omitted Steakhouse from the name as this restaurant does not earn that title. Ordered a NY Strip – tasted like something thrown on a cheap grill – poor quality of beef & very thin. Side of mushrooms were awful. Credit given to home made fries – only thing I enjoyed. My husband’s ribeye which cost $2 more was just as bad – thin and poor quality beef. What a BIG expensive disappointment! Waste of a lot of money. No plans to ever return – go to Longhorns! 1-Star is being generous! Overpriced for small, poor quality steaks!!

Corey was an amazing bartender/ server. She pulled double duty and handled herself excellently. I had the surf and turf, steak and lobster tail as a much needed treat. The house cab was a winner.
