Small place, great food. Moved to Wilton earlier this year and I had my Chinese food spots in Norwalk, Stamford and Darien. Ended up ordering food here because it is near a lot of other stores, pleasantly surprised. Food was delicious! One time on a busy night they messed up my order, someone took the wrong bag and they gave us their order. They realized it and called us back, I was a little annoyed but mistakes happen. They gave us the right order and I went to give them the order back and they insisted we keep it and apologized. Sweet and Sour Chicken, Dumplings and Wings are my favorite.

The food is delicious and the owner is very friendly. I accidentally spilled a milkshake in my car and he had noticed I was cleaning the mess with napkins from my order and the owner came out to bring me extra napkins after the restaurant had just closed. I really appreciated this above and beyond customer service!

I order from Happy Wok at least once a week. The triple szechuan delight was so good and spicy, my six year old loved the shrimp! The employees are all very friendly and provide a warm inviting atmosphere.

Best chinese food in the area. I tried other Asian restaurants nearby but their food tastes lacking and isn’t as fresh and good as Happy Wok. Those who complain that the food is greasy, haven’t had truly greasy Chinese food. My only real complaint is that the dumplings are doughy, the wrapper could be thinner. The prices are fair considering that the business is located in high rent Wilton. I grant that it’s not much of a sit down place, it’s for take out or delivery, if you live nearby.

Well theres no doubt that the last review was written by staff. There are 3 cheap tables. The price is average, but food quality is very poor. For the same price, you could have much higher quality food from Hunan Cafe a block over. If you need a large dose of grease and need to throw away money in your wallet, this is your place. Otherwise keep looking.

This place is such a gem and the staff is super friendly, polite, and upbeat. I really enjoy the family atmosphere the staff have. They are family people and i will gladly serve their food to my family. That and they have hands down best Chinese in Wilton/Ridgefield and probably all of Fairfield County. I have never had better dumplings any where but here, they literally make them perfect. Its a smaller place that doesn’t need to focus on flashy appearances. The chicken and broccoli is DANK, lo mein, DANK. Don’t even let me get started on that egg drop soup, DANKKK. Everytime i go to a Fancy upscale Chinese food place the food is just not as good and double the price. Everything I’ve eaten here they just nailed it, seriously perfect taste. Ive tried so many Chinese places all over CT an honestly they just aren’t as good as Happy Wok.(For the other people who complained about “grease”, its Chinese food, none of these places are healthy for you lets be real, if you were trying to eat healthy you wouldn’t order Chinese food. They have plenty of things that aren’t greasy, even a whole steamed menu, everything here is made with perfect taste/texture). Portions are large, and even more generous if your dining in, they stuff the take out containers full. Lunch special is a steal, and the later menu is cheap, this place is open late too, usually the last to close in town center. Hunan cafes food is a joke compared to happy wok, seriously. This is no place to take a date too but this is the definition of a perfect hole in the wall gem.

Typical cookie cutter American fast-food Chinese. Cheap and quick, but the kind of unnatural food that makes you feel pretty gross afterwards, because human beings were simply not meant to digest such garbage. Eat real food!
