WOW!! I was very impressed with Hanger 21. As a former musician, I have eaten in hundreds of bars and restaurants in NJ, PA., and NY. This place is a hidden gem. The food was excellent, beer was ice cold, and most important the service was top notch. I sat at the bar and Darlene was the bartender. She was one of the best bartenders I’ve ever had. At one point , she couldn’t see my beer glass level, came over and moved the happy hour placard so she could see my beer level from a distance. When you’ve frequented as many places as I have, you notice things like that. I highly recommend Hanger 21! there’s not many places in the area, and most are overrated, like Three B’s, food is sub-par and the drinks are WAY more expensive. If your listening, check this place out, it’s WELL WORTH IT!

Service was.. awkward.. I guess I’m not their preferred demographic. Ordered the Buffalo chicken sliders and was completely surprised at what they brought out.. in what world are these considered sliders??! It’s breading wrapped around chicken puree…its not even shredded chicken lol. Just a bread tube filled with chicken mush. I have no idea wth this is, other than gross lol :/ the restaurant decor is nice tho.

Have been there for happy hour drinks and apps which are very good values. Went there for dinner with my son in law last night the place was crowded we asked for a table in the main dining room and we’re told all of the available tables were reserved even though they were never fully occupied. We sat in the bar area at a high top they seem to cater to their regular customers. Sal the owner visited most of the tables but did not stop at ours.

07/01/2023: Dinner for two: Appe, Soup, Salads & Entrees. This was an outstanding meal. Well Done! 05/28/2022: First dinner at HANGER 21! Dinner for 2. We enjoyed the bread twists and salads. Entrees were Eggplant Parmigiana and Baked Eggplant: OUTSTANDING! Dessert were Cheesecake and a Chocolate Dessert (forgot the name) with coffees. Lisa provided great service. Just had my wedding reception here and it was absolutely amazing! Sal and his staff were positively incredible! The layout of the food was great and tasted great, the drinks were top notch and the bartender was an absolute sweetheart ❤️ the dj played great music and it couldn’t have been a more perfect day for my husband and I. If you haven’t been here please give it a try because you will not be disappointed Sal is an absolutely amazing man and couldn’t have taken better care of all my family and friends. 5 out of 5 stars hands down!

Worst service ever! We order two entrees that usually come with complimentary bread. Our meals came, but no bread. We asked the young server for bread and she said ok. No problem. By the time the bread came, we already were finished with our meal. The server tried to set it in front of us, but we declined as we had already finished eating. As the server was walking away, she said “I’ll eat it than…”. Very rude. Very condescending. Not a fan. We will take out $$$ somewhere else.
